Depends on your needs.
For everyday driving and for very practical reasons, a Sportage CRDi should satisfy you.
I prefer the RAV4 MT though.

If it's a CRDi Sportage, the Sportage it is. If gasoline, it's a toss up between the Rav4 and the Escape 2.3.

^ I'd go for the Rav4 gas.
If the Escape is in good condition and the price is right, take a close look at it as well. Personally i'd get the Escape over the three. We've had a couple of 2.3L Escapes in the family and we're happy them (good space, FC is decent too). Parts are available and not exceedingly gross in price if you buy from the Banawe Ford supply stores.
It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
Liquid tire sealant
