Depends on what you are looking for. Elantra is cheaper but it's a compact car. I would probably go for the sportage since it brings more to the table in terms of size and height(flooding).

June 12th, 2011 08:36 PM #6I'd take the Sportage, even if it is just 4x2. The added interior space, more aggressive looks, better looking interior (subjective) and higher ride height seals the deal. But of course if you can wait for the ReVGT variant to come, why not?

P1-Million budget
1st car
Occasional out of town trips, perhaps 2x to 3x a month
Work in Makati and go home in Eastwood
the R-eVGT is too much...

June 13th, 2011 05:06 PM #9By the looks of it your daily commute includes a lot of highway driving and you'd be going out of town often. Since you don't do city that much, then the Theta II engine should give pretty good mileage and lots of power as well (most powerful 2.0L gasoline engine in its class).

Most powerful on paper.
Pero I believe mas mabilis yung X-Trail 200X dahil sa torque. At kung naka K20 yung gen 3 CR-V malamang yun parin pinaka mabilis.
The serpentine belt is still okay, usual consumables (air filter, oifl filter, cabin filter) got...
