February 20th, 2007 08:25 PM #1hello to everyone here in tsikot!
my father is buying me a new car as a gift for my 17th birthday and as a graduation gift narin.. he said i can choose any car i want as long as its price wont exceed 1M.. I like the Mazda 3 hatchback., Ford Focus sport and the suzuki swift.. alin kaya pinakamaganda? or any other suggestions? anyway I'm more concerned with looks, performance and aftersales service.. Im not really concerned about the resale value as im gonna use this car for 5 years or more.. anyway, im turning 17, incoming college freshman and female.. im not very good at driving esp sa parking so sana ung madaling idrive.. kung meron mang ganun.. hehe..
thanks guys!Last edited by swift06; February 20th, 2007 at 08:37 PM. Reason: update

Kung performance and aftersales service, then the Ford Focus Sport.
It may not have the boyish good looks of the other two, but it's faster than either of the others and it combines good handling with a good ride. Despite having some hard plastics in the interior and an old-fashioned design, it feels like a premium car instead of a mass-market compact car.
I just don't know if you can get it for under 1m.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

February 20th, 2007 10:49 PM #3I had a Mazda3 2.0 before, great car, only a bit stiff (ride); get this instead of the hatch plllllsssss.
We (wife) have a swift, cute and practical city car , pero too pa-cute for you I would say.
I'd really wanted to own a Focus HAtch, good reviews...
It's the Focus hatch or Mazda3 2.0...
Else, if you don't mind to be lost in a sea of common cars .... Civic 1.8S will be a good, practical choice...

Ford Focus Sport 2.0L, well if you have the money to burn as the price difference between this and the two others are quite big.

ayaw mo ba ng Yaris, based on your post, IMO Yaris (in A/T form) is perfect for you.
It's small, easy to park, and it's in A/T form (which is a plus for girls).

considering a Ferrari has an average price range of 20-25M. multiply that with 666 units sold then...
