That's stupid IMHO.
Ang mahal ng Sportivo. 1.2M for a third-world-country AUV that does not look like 1.2M Bakit 1.2M? para lang sa Leather seats? LCD monitors? Come on Isuzu
Konting dagdag nalang Alterra na. Mas ok pa yun kahit pangit din.
Mas superior parin ang dating phased out Trooper. Sana meron parin Trooper ngayon. Hay.
________
Pwede-pwede pa yung Hiace GL Grandia.

October 15th, 2010 12:28 AM #14Being used to both an Isuzu Crosswind(although XL lang yung amin) and a Grand Starex CVX, I would say depende yan sa pangangailangan mo kasi kung ako tatanungin, very satisfied ako with both vehicles. Kung pang utility at matipid sa krudo ang hanap mo then go for the Sportivo, If your looking for lots pf passenger space and with lots of power to boot then look no further than the Grand Starex.

For this requirement:
By the way, pang color-coding, sunday and out-of-town car lang ito.
Even the base TCi model will have more space for people. Plus, it's real, front facing space for 10 or 12, unlike AUVs which have relatively cramped interiors for that many folks.
I think you should visit the Hyundai board and check with them for their experiences on reliability and fuel consumption, so you're closer to the source.

October 15th, 2010 10:48 AM #16Its like this, you're choosing between Sportivo's Fuel efficiency and engine reliability against Starex's comfortability power and safety. So what do you prioritize? Sometimes you have to sacrifice one thing from another. Try doing cost benefit analysis and see for your self which would be better.

*ronw123w124-Thanks! Sa performance, ok lang mag-suffer ako sa kahinaan ng output ng sportivo pero ang kapalit naman nun is yung fuel efficiency nung car which is a plus for me.
*IMm29-Thanks! Ang problema ko lang is pag example, TCi yung kukunin namin, parang ang bare kasi tignan eh. pero kung kaya ng budget, the CRDi model will be better.
*digitel-Thanks for the advice! Oo nga eh, you can't get everything you want in 1 car. Kailangan talaga mag-sacrifice.

October 15th, 2010 12:47 PM #19If you want reliability, go with the TCI model. It's going to be cheaper to maintain that because it has less technology. Since it's going to be a coding, weekend and outing car, go get the Starex. Even if its less fuel efficient, it's very much worth it because of the comfort. Ibang class na ang Starex compared to Crosswind which is very crude.
For me, Crosswind is pang fleet or pang work vehicle lang. Even the Sportivo. Last year, I went with my friend to get their new Sportivo from the dealership, was very disappointed with the quality of the interior. Everything looks very dated and very 90s. And the dash looks very shiny, mukhang pinunturahan lang para maging tan yung color. I'd rather have an Innova J than than the top of the line Sportivo
If you find the TCi too bare, just buy accessories for it. After all, the Sportivo is just an accessorized Crosswind. You can have TVs, Cameras and HUs installed din naman.
And if it's the looks of the Sportivo that you're after, IMO it's not classy at all. Yes it looks macho with those fenders, all terrain tires and other add ons but the Starex still looks a class above the Crosswind. And I hate the engine noise of the isuzu even when just idling.Last edited by glntVR; October 15th, 2010 at 12:52 PM.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
