    [QUOTE]hehe they do?

IMHO. yes! kaya kahit hindi cla mag produce ng gas engine buhay pa rin company nila. They became prominent because of diesel engine.

I own a Brand new Toyota Innova V Diesel. I just bought it last week from Toyota Libis. The Engine runs smoothly even it is a diesel.

Innova ka na. Value for money. I own an Isuzu and a toyota. Malayo ang ride quality (even if hindi innova yung akin). Newer engine, more stylish. Well thought out ang interior space plus the T badge. Although reliable din ang isuzu diesel.

In big investments like automobiles, go for the one that offers the latest. If i am not mistaken, price diff is negligible between these two vehicles. :drive1:

The Crosswind's interior appointment looks so dated, as if it came straight from the early 90's.

Some Innova units with the D4-D might have some inherent and serious problems with the engine. Going for the vvti instead will spare one from any uncertainty of the engine's reliability.

I'm from Negros Occidental and the price of Crosswind XUV 03' manual here ranges from 650K+690K. When I sold my XUV for 690K, A friend of mine offered an Innova for only 750K (not sure if diesel or gas) since I was looking for a replacement. I end up buying another XUV instead. My point is, Isuzu has better resale value compared to the Toyotas. The engine is very reliable and economical. A 14km/liter on the highway is very impressive. If only the D4D engine of Toyota is perfect, I could have decided on the Innova but ... We'll see how Toyota improve its CRDi engine soon.

our innova d4d has racked up more than 25K kms. so far wala pa namang problema. we also had an isuzu pick-up from way back. comment ko lang: parehong reliable ang makina nilang dalawa. yun nga lang mas maingay talaga ang isuzu diesel.

also, comparing casa experience between isuzu and toyota, sa toyota na ako.

    looks-wise, panalong panalo ang innova.

Innova VVTI na lang....subok na. IMO.

But if you really need a diesel, Isuzu is the popular choice. And why not? If you are after function more than luxury, Isuzu engine can last a lifetime. Newer Mitsu adventure diesels ok din....parang this is a cut between aesthetics and function...a combo package of looks, economy, rigidity, engine reliability and ruggedness. Suggestion lang po...

    makikigulo nga ulit

'01 xto owner here... 147,000+km and still going strong.
almost same fuel efficiency from day 1 (12 km/liter combined city and hi-way driving), no engine-related problems *knock on wood*, and using biodiesel-enhanced diesel to minimize usok... now that's reliability.

pero tama kayo, kung wala sana problema d4d engine ng toyota... sobra lamang ng innova. sayang, tsk tsk tsk

agree and if you're not after "too much" speed but for fuel efficiency. crosswind over the innova.

Meron akong Innova J Gas. Madalas ko gamitin pauwi ng cabanatuan. last Tuesday umuwi may 6 tao at 2 kaban ng bigas + gamit pa namain for 2 days stay. kayang kaya ng makina wala akong masabi, nakikipagsabayan sa kotse sa bilis at nag 120 kph pa ako sa NLEX. I never drove a crosswind pero sa tingin ko mas matibay dahil muwelye ang ilalim as against sa innova na coil spring sya. Mas convinient and innova pero di pahuhuli sa kargahan...

Take it from me,do youself a favor get an Innova. I have an Innova E D4D, got it last April 16,2005, have more than 25K mileage already at present. I get 12 km per liter city driving with heavy traffic at Alabang Zapote road everyday.
No problems whatsover! except that ninakaw yung spare tire ko last week!
Please see Innova Engine woes for my post. Na warning na nga ako don for saying this, sinabihan pa akong salesman ng Toyota, he,he. palagay ko ban na ako ni mazda mazda after this statement, he,he.
