It does.

But VCM on the previous Accord only activated during light cruising... ergo... maintaining 60-80 km/h with a very light foot on the accelerator. Speed up a little bit, and VCM turns off. (on the new Accord, VCM stays on longer and under more conditions).

With two cylinders off, you still have 2.2 liters worth of engine running, pushing a 1.7 ton car.

With three cylinders off, you only have 1.8 liters worth of engine running, but it's still pushing a 1.7 ton car, as well as the other half of the engine that's not running.

In the end, the Accord was relatively economical for the power and size, but you would still be getting 3-4 km/l in traffic.

For the price of the HRV Mugen, the CX5 2.0 Pro or Forester 2.0i-L or Xtrail 4x2 or CRV 2.0S is a better proposition. Unless of course, you have that thing for accessories.

HRV is a useless purchase coz when you're like 2 cars away, it will just be mistaken as a sedan. sobrang baba at mukang vios lang kung minsan. waste of money for this vehicle . mas muka pa SUV ang ecosport.
