A family man would suit a CRV while a single yuppie would opt for a CX5. However, a dad with a knack for spirited driving will choose something else - a spacious and practical turbocharged AWD crossover.

The CX5 AWD was a serious consideration three years ago and my wife really loved the Red color of Mazda. However, our first choice was the boxy turbo AWD crossover.

If i was asked for my first choice back then for a Mazda vehicle, no doubt I would have taken home a Mazda6 wagon in Red color. My wife wanted a crossover so goodbye wagon.

It’s difficult to replicate the quality though. Better be careful with scratches.
