Civic, of course, unless you want a smaller car. Bigger interior space, decent FC for a compact, bigger trunk, decent performance.
The Swift is more like a Jazz, even smaller I think.

A co-worker has a 1st gen Civic FD (2006-2008) 1.8L AT and he tells me he can do 8-9 km/L on city driving conditions. It is better on the highway. The facelifted FD (2009-2011) is similar to the 2006-2008 versions, with the difference in headlights and taillights. The newer Civic FB (2012-onwards) has the Eco-Mode option.
The 1.5L City AT (2009-2013) can do between 10-11 km/L on city driving conditions and this would be similar to the Jazz 1.5L AT as they share engines and platform. The 1.3L AT models would do less at 9-10 km/L.
