If you're looking for a plain-jane appliance to get you from point A to point B, get the Civic. If you want a bit more soul in your car, get the Mazda.

OT: For the past decade, Mazda has kept true to its driver-centric vehicle philosophy. On the other hand, Honda has lost all focus and is now just making vanilla cars for everyone (except perhaps the new Accord).
Aside from power and space, you forgot reliability and re-sale value.

Resale value, probably. But reliability, how do you say so? Kasi Honda?

Anong Mazda ba ang sirain? And alin ba sa kanilang dalawa ang CBU Japan?

    * Lancer. Cvt yan? If so, di mo lng mapansin, pero mabilis yun arangkada nyan. Droning lng yun rev, kaya parang mabagal.

    Diba 1.6 yan? So it's the 4AT.

Talaga namang mabagal yung Lancer 1.6 compared to its contemporaries.

may nagbigay ng quickie comparison sa m3 thread comparing the altis cvt, m3 AT, lancer ex AT. i think doon binase nung OP yung sinabi nya kasi yun exactly yung sinabi nung nagcompare. its tranny related since yung responsiveness yung cinompare. pinakaresponsive daw is altis cvt then m3 then lancer. i dont think the same can be said for the MT. which you own.

between the two, m3 nalang. civic looks boring. its a honda though pero may yojin 3 ka naman sa m3. maspogi pa.

but the new 2014 mazda 6 beats the 2013 accord based on comparison test by car and driver

no reason to get the current civic over the mazda 3 in my opinion, mas okay pa yung civic fd
