AFAIK, standard rates na yung post ni Boeing. A relative who is into this business is also going at that rate. About the VAT, not yet included yung 12% sa rate namin.
They have a variety of vans like Toyota Hi-Ace (2.4 DSL Commuter w/ 15 seater), Nissan Escapade (2.7 Engine w/ 11 seater) and the new Toyota Hiace D4D (2.5 Engine w/ 14 seater).
We do use them on family occassions kaya had the chance to drive all of them. So far, okay naman yung unang Hi-Ace Commuter, pero the interiors are very bare like bench type seats and manual lahat, even the sidings are made of lawanit, also the a/c is hirap na lumamig pag madami na ang sakay and during hot days. Engine performance is quite since I drove it to climb Baguio w/ 18 adults and 5 children, kahit papanu nakaka-overtake naman kahit paahon.
Nissan Escapade is nice choice considering hindi sya ang entry level van ng Nissan (Nissan Urvan Shuttle). They have nice upholstered seats with full reclining on the first two rows. Standard na yung fog lights, cd player and rear windshield wiper/washer. And of course, you can never go wrong with a Nissan a/c, supercool. As far as experience, medyo matakaw lang sa fuel. Merong hatak but then consumption is quite high compared sa Hiace.
For the new Hiace D4D, interiors have improved like dash-mounted shift lever, standard CD player and the 3rd/4th row seats can enter/exit via the back door. Very economical din yung consumption, kaya all praise ako for this model. Oopps, ngapala D4D ito!
