Top mount kasi. Kaya naman tumakbo ng Grace sa non-turbo 4d56. Mga 70-80bhp yun depending on model year.

I've been in the Rent a van for quite some time too. As per my experience, malakas sa rentahan ang Starex. Sosyal kasi ang dating and malakas ang A/C. As in may mga nag rerent na naka specify sa isip nila na STAREX ang rerentahin nila because of the sosi feeling.

Alam na natin na converted ang mga ito, that means "some" conversions are not properly done which means delikado dahil steering are pinag uusapan dito. nother "con" ng JDM ay yung balitad na sliding door for passenger which is dangerous lalo na kung may pasahero kang batang makulit (believe me, dami kong naging ganung pasahero).

Pag maganda sasakyan mo, meron kumukontrata sayo ng matagalan. Sa experience ko, there was a time na rent yung van ko for 1 week. Everyday ako bumabyahe from Manila/Dagupan vice versa. One of them is Nikki Valdez.

For me, masarap ang business na rent a van, kumukita ka na, nakakapasyal ka pa.

    niwde, ano yan? mb100?

we're still studying the idea kasi, no rush but it's looking more like 75% decided na kami. (i haven't posted it here in the forum yet, we had another baby last march 25! it's a girl! growing family so hindi na kami kasya sa sedan haha!) gusto lang namin ng family van then rent it out on the side since di naman namin gagamitin everyday. more like a twice-a-month family vehicle for us so instead of having it in the garage 28 days out of 30 e di make it earn on the side. kaya nga under consideration din ang new starex. but if i can get a comparatively good 2nd hand then that will be the first choice (kuripot ang lolo nyo!). my wife wants the new starex (she does not know what to do with my 58% salary increase :D given last month kasi! women!)

Starex is a good choice din naman. Though the 12 seater version is a bit cramped and has leaf springs instead of the 9 seater's coil springs.

Non-electronic ang MB100. Descendant siya ng engine sa '77 300D ko.

yun kapitbahay namin may rent-a-van. if I can remember correctly, 2 nissan estate yun nakaparada sa kalye namin mga 2 years ago. ngaun 4 apat na same model (all bnew). my neighbor is also in the taxi business, madami sya toyota corollas pero pagdating sa van puro Nissan. siguro it's really reliable.

my dad's company rents out his vans from time to time, for transporting employees anywhere sa Luzon.

I'm on my second Starex although I'm not in the car-rental business. Yung una ko 2000 TDI and still going strong.

magkano ba van rental per day ng mga starex? yun sa kapitbahay namin Nissan Urvan pala, 4 identical units. nasa parking ngaun kasi walang pasok pero pag regular work day wala lahat yun. my dad said a company division is renting out the vans at 3,800 per day. 3,800 x 4 = 15,200 a day.

Wow... laki nun. I thought it was still around 2500 per day... pero mahal ng parts at diesel ngayon, so malamang market price na sa kanila yun...

Bulacan to Baguio ko dati is P3,500/day tapos P1,500 every succeeding days, and P1,500 ang Bulacan to NAIA, akin na lahat dun pero that was 4 years ago, sigurado tumaas na rates ngayon. Mas mahal ang rate sa Manila.

last time nag-rent kasi ako ng van (last year) it was 3000/1st 12 hours + 150/hour in excess of 12 hours, akin pa diesel. then just 2 months ago magre-rent sana ako ulit, tawag ako dun sa dati and 3 others, standard price nila 3500/1st 12 hours, akin ang diesel plus 200/hour overtime. lower daw rates if more than 1 day pero di ko ask. sa baguio nga pala punta namin sana.
