RE: My vote? Haha... it's a no-vote. Yung sinasabi ko lang, power is relative, and your boss will probably never rev high enough to tap all that power. Of course, being a power freak, I would actually rev its nuts off... the two days I had a Fortuner 3.0, I spent 1000 pesos on diesel...

I'd personally go for either vehicle... I like them both.

If it is for commercial use, just choose the one with the biggest bed. Both units are making almost double the power of most Elf-type trucks already.

Personally, I'd take the DMax because of the dark colored interior. Hindi madaling madumihan especially kung pang-negosyo.

    Thanks for all your inputs.
By the way, ano ba ang consumption ng Hi-lux 3.0 AT? Dmax AT gets a little over 8km/li sa city driving and 12km/l sa highway. I thought mas CRDi engines are more economical?

    Niky,
You need to get a Jet Plane bro. hehe. Thanks for the info and the inputs.

    Otep,
Pinipilit ko nga magstrada but the bed size just isnt enough for him.

As per C! Magazine's tests, the Hi-Lux can do 6.8 km/li in City and highways it can do 13.3 km/li. For comparison, a 3.0 Fortuner can 8 km/li mixed city and highway.

What in the world is this???

    A HILUX?
    Comfy?

    Its a TRUCK!

If walang strada, then go for Dmax... But for me, the bed isnt an issue... You still have 2,500kg to tow your stuff.

But towing requires a different license restriction as well as a trailer with papers ($$$).

I'm fixing my license to be able to tow.

Most pick ups also don't offer any towing facility. No coupling, no wiring, no nothing. Have to spend $$$ again.

Not sure with the Hilux but the Dmax only has a front tow hook. Wala sa rears.

    Otep,
Around how much is the fee for towing?

what do you guys recommend na magandang brand na TOW HOOK? huwag lang ARB sobrang mahal kasi nun. may nakiita ko kadalasan sa mga Ford Expedition, shape nya is square..
