Ano po mas ok Hi Ace or Starex?

If custom, upgrade the thermal and accoustic insulation. Heheheh.
I prefer the hyundai engine/5spd combination.
Anung purpose sir? For hauling people ba or family use? For family use much better is Grand Starex, the most comfortable van yet powerful but not so spacious over the Super Grandia. Grand starex A/T VGT starts at 1.8m. But the lower specs M/T WGT priced at 1.6m.
For hauling people i'll go with Super Grandia or atleast GL Grandia, so spacious and powerful enough for a van. GL Grandia M/T starts * 1.6m while the Super Grandia A/T starts * 1.9m.
Choose wisely.![]()
if you want reliability, go for the Super Grandia fabric for it to be cheaper.
We are also looking to get one when we have saved up for it.
I think sir phased out na ang TCI since nag Euro IV na tayo.
Depende po sa needs niyo, I find the Grand Starex more family friendly, sa Super Grandia kasi nasakyan ko dati, malambot ang captain seats, pero ramdam mo pa din stiffness ng leaf spring over humps. Though maganda sa Super Grandia is yung door closer, you need not to exert too much effort to close the sliding doors.
The Starex has the better ride and is more driver friendly.
Personally i still prefer the Hiace Super Grandia for its size and long term ownership. For customization, i'd guess you can also do more with the bigger Super Grandia interior.
Which is truck like driving

Japanese cars are usually supposed to be more expensive than Korean cars.
Why? reliability, resale value, maintenance.
Maintenance - no. Parehas lang yan.
Basta ok maintenance mo it will be reliable
Resale - i agree with this
How many are you planning on seating most of the time? And who will be driving? I'd go with the Starex for comfort. You get better safety too with the engine in front instead of under the front row.

Ever considered the Carnival? Definitely a looker by anyone's books, even more civilized and powerful than the Starex, and has loads of room for 3 rows of seats.
I'd only go for the Hiace if I we're planning on making it a rental. Even then I'd actually consider it's much, much cheaper Foton clone with the Cummins engine which makes just as much power and with the ability to swap in original Toyota parts if needed. [emoji1]

For 5 passengers? Oo medyo masikip kapag 11 seater. Pero napakaluwag if you're gonna reconfigure the seating. A relative has the 8 seater 2011 LX LWB, and the interior space is positively cavernous!
What sort of seating modification are you planning to do?

Well. Kanya kanyang paniniwala. Kaya di matapos tapos ang labanan ng hiace and starex kasi may kanya kanyang pros and cons.
The problem with carnival is tapos na ata ang promo na 1.5m. Balik na sya sa 1.9m which is sobrang mahal. Smaller than hiace and starex tapos mas mahal pa.
