July 28th, 2006 02:09 PM #2all in good condition I choose the sentra 1.6 dohc fuel injected (matipid and masbago) Lancer weak since its a 1.3 carb engine. Corolla sohc 1.6 carb (matakaw sa gas)

i would go for the lancer.
resale and fuel consumption is my main consideration.

July 28th, 2006 02:28 PM #4sentra for me. better overall package (assuming most of the useful amenities still work)

Sentra ako if its in a very good condition.
Ok ang porma at amenities (all power na kasi yun). The 1990 corolla is too old already.
If you want a newer look, the lancer would do.

Sentra na ako. i currently drive my cousin's 93 Sentra SS. tipid sa gas. matulin kapag hataw. has alot of features pa.
resale with regards to the 96 Lancer? eh, kapresyo na nga nya ang 92 Sentra at 90 Corolla eh... tapos sya pa ang pinaka-bare sa choices. yung Corolla naman carb 1.6L malakas sa gas siguro yun.

July 28th, 2006 03:32 PM #7given that you're looking for 10yr+ models .. mukhang point A to point B car lang naman kelangan mo .. kunin mo na yung pinakamura na maintenance at pinakatipid sa gas .. i think that would be the lancer ..

The 1.3 will only be cheaper on gas if its well-maintained. Old carbs are kinda a headache when you don't know their history.
Still, in terms of economy, Lancer > Sentra > Corolla.
I personally prefer the Sentra, but I'm biased... pick whichever car is in the best condition. If they're all in bad condition, look for something else.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
manual ba ang innova mo?
