Suzuki Vitara, This modern Era, underrated CUV.. pero in 90's yan ang sikat na CUV.

Luckily, nakapag-drive ako ng 1st gen, during early 2000's (2003) at age of 15yrs old. first real vehicle na nadrive ko at very young age..

BRV, never pa ako nakapag-drive ng ganitong sasakyan, pero other model variant katulad ng mobilio this year, old model ng civic, during early days of driving.. ok naman..

Go Vitara nalang in all aspect mas maganda sya. My opinion..

grabe talaga mga car dealerships, they bait you in this 1.048M na bang for the buck Vitara GLX with all bells and whistles

haha you'll be surprised. the vast majority of pinoys have no interest in having this sort of thing investigated. hindi myth-buster and pinoy mentality eh

casas are raking in tons of cash w/ these super-short PMS intervals. coz pinoys are mostly willing victims

btw i'm talking about their 4-month interval

Suzuki first 3 PMS 1K, 5K, 10K, free labor, at yung mga susunod ay pwedeng i-stretch sa every 5 months, as long you dont miss. Hindi sila mahigpit, especially East Ave., at mas mura compare to other car. Checked my PMS experienced in Ertiga thread.

di pwede "stretch" to 6 months? i downloaded the ertiga manual. it says 1-year interval for NORMAL conditions. but i'm willing to settle w/ 6 months coz that's what i've been doing w/ all my previous cars

Every 6 months ang interval for normal conditions.

6mo interval w/ mineral is better than 1yr interval w/ FS to begin w/ FS wasn't invented to extend the OCI in the first place!

as i said before, i changed the mineral oil on all my previous cars every 6mo. they all lasted longer than i needed them to

Is Mistu still selling the ASX? They used to price it just above 1M. It is a better package than an Ecosport or Vitara though the platform is 10 years old already.

Yes they do. The cvt tranny was reconfigured around 2016 afaik. It is indeed better than ecosport or vitara imho. The engine is just qay better and fc is just about the same as the ecosport as per post of someone here from tsikot iirc. On the higway, there you will enjoy the engine and tranny package.

Had the same dilemma 2 months ago and was able to test drive both (a lot of times) from different dealers.

We chose the Vitara, no regrets.

    1. Bigger engine
    2. More features and toy specs
    3. We dont really need the extra seating capacity
    4. Better interior quality

Anyway, I'm eyeing either the Honda BR-V or the newly-introduced Suzuki Vitara. Some preliminary pros for each car:
BR-V: 7-seater capacity, higher ground clearance at 201 mm (vs ~180 for Vitara)
Vitara: Cruise control, sunroof, slightly better specs, slightly cheaper

If you were in my position, which would you pick? Inputs from owners of either vehicles would be amazing.

    Maraming salamat!

HR-V mas premium feel because its Honda. Hehe. Okay naman siguro yung E variant. Just upgrade it to your liking.
If the wife drives, ask mo what she thinks about the CX-3. Esp. the ride height and space. IMO, you guys, will feel safer sa higher ride.

Tho meron lang talagang charm ang mazda soul red color for the wives or gfs...
