vios 2012 1.5G a/t (yung sa amin 2009, pero parehas lang naman yan)...... city driving 8.5-9km/L.... highway driving 11-12km/L
From what I've read here in Tsikot:
1.5G M/T: ~10-12 km/L
1.5G A/T: ~9.5-10.5 km/L
1.3G A/T: ~9-11 km/L
All city driving.
*abeman,
Sir gaya ng PM ko sa'yo, go for the Vios 1.5G MT. Unbelievable power. Papahabulin mo yung mga Montero GTV.
And walang mag-harang in releasing its full power kasi ng MT, unlike pag-AT 4spd transmission lang.
suggestion ko lang po. kung balak gamitin ni misis then better get an AT. kung laging isa or dalawa lng passenger then get a 1.3. kung laging loaded ang auto then 1.5.
If you can afford the 1.5G, go for it. The 1.5G A/T is what I'd consider to be an adequate car for city driving. The difference in power is significant, while the increase in fuel consumption is minimal, borderline 0 even.
Of course, if you don't need the power, mas makakatipid ka sa 1.3G kasi mas mura yun. Kahit pareho lang ng FC, in the long run mas mura siya kasi mas konti yung nilabas mong pera for it.
I agree... the 1.3 is not a good match to the AT. The 1.5, on the other hand, doesn't see as much fuel economy penalty with the AT... perhaps 0.5 km/l in mixed driving, from what I've observed.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
If you wanted max FC, it'd be the 1.3 MT. But then since that's not a choice, I'd go for the 1.5, your choice on the MT or AT. If it's mainly city driving, the AT should do. If you like opening it up on highways, then MT.![]()
I tried eco driving one time in light EDSA traffic.
here's what I got:
mine's 1.5G AT gen 2 2010 model.
on my way home, on a typical after office hour traffic:
it's significantly lower.
Btw, that's ECO driving. On my normal driving habits, I could get as low as 8.5km/l and that's with a lot of brisk driving moments, overtaking etc. Normal 50/50 split hataw/eco mode could get me 10km/l easily.
