What's your pick in terms of reliability since this would be my first car? Montero is an suv which should be more durable but I've read some issues about montero sport like stalling, turbo lag, noisy engine, etc. and none so far about the gt-a except from the am/fm issue of the head unit. I'm a student and i'm just choosing between these two cars. What do you think?

Apples and oranges for the same price range.

I agree. As a single guy who's a student, you'll enjoy the Lancer more. Not to say you won't like the Monty, but unless you're the barkada driver, or your Dad's planning to use the Monty on the weekend as a family car, or you go offroad/outdoors much, the Lancer's a better drive.

GT-A. Unless nga your dad plans to use it as a family car on weekends. Wala kang magagawa if that's the case.

No doubt the GT-A! Hehe. Pangchicks.

    Pero...

Mas madaming chicks ang maisasakay mo sa montero at mas maluwag ang cabin which means... :naughty2:

Go for Lancer EX GT-A kung pamporma. Montero sport pwede rin pamporma at pam pamilya all around because of its size. Prices of Fuel, panalo ang montero dahil mura ang diesel kaysa sa gas.

EX GT-A =>> sporty type of person
Montero Sport =>> thrill- and adventure-seeker

it's your call which to pick... but if you're the one whose gonna pay for the car's maintenance (like me when I was in college), you'll save more with the EX GT-A than the Montero Sport...

    Hehehe!

Would you need a tall ride to get to your school? Like do you pass thru some flooded streets, etc? What about parking, would that be a problem with a big car?
