Yep. If driving comfort is what we're after, you wouldn't find any in the Civic FD. Kasi puro siya adrenaline rush. Stiffer suspension, greater handling etc. etc. Unlike the Altis diba ... softer suspension, softer seats etc. for comfort talaga.

*boxing summers : I`d strongly suggest to look at the Hyundai Accent Blue. Everything that you should look for to complete the elegance of the 1.4L is seen already on the said variant. Also, it's somewhat evident that the Accent Blue still wins the rarity segment, unlike the Altis or any Honda for that matter ... few days after it was released customers are raging on the footsteps of their dealers & ordering for one already.

Regarding practicality, I couldn't say so that it is bang-for-the-buck. Probably because of the additional perks, yes, but for the overall use ... my heart still beats for the Altis. Bigger. Bigger. Bigger. & parts are probably a bit cheaper too.

Looks they're partly the same. Though I didn't have a negative first impression on the Blue like how I did on the Altis ( ugh. the tail lights ) but both should turn heads ... for now.

Fuel efficiency, the Blue wins this one due to the power to weight ratio. The dual vvt-i technology bewildered most of us all & making us think that it makes MORE power than the Blue. But it's wrong, actually the Hyundai Accent Blue makes more power than the 1.6 Altis which cranks at 120HP * 6000rpm / 154Nm of torque * 5200rpm WHILE the Accent blue which is significantly smaller cranks at 122HP * 6300rpm and has 156Nm of torque * 4200rpm. And due to that numbers, the Accent provided a decent economy of 16.4km/L Highway driving at an average speed of 100kph & 12.7km/L City driving on light to moderate traffic conditions.

Regarding the Altis on the other hand, it can top up at 15.4km/L highway driving at a steady pace of 100kph & 10.5km/L on the city.
