Hello to everyone! I don't know how to start a poll so I think this would do.
Which engine performs the best among these engines.
    1.4G63T
    2.SR20VET
    3.SR20DET
    4.B18C Type R
    5.B16B Type R
    6.B16A
    7.4AGE BT
    8.4AGE ST
    9.4E-FTE
    10.FS-DE

Since we're talking about these engines FC should not be a factor in choosing but what performs BEST or its PROS/CONS
I think comparing these engines would be interesting...

I only included engines which tuners' use during the 90's to early 2000. So there's no K20A or any newer engines in the choices

Nothing has more potential on that list than the 4G63T and the SR20DET... though it depends on the specific model, as certain versions of the 63T are not as strong as others.

The FS-DE is not a performance engine... the Mazda performance engines are the FS-ZE and KL-ZE (V6).

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

No, the FS-ZE is the high-revving version of the FS-DE in the Lynx. But it only makes 170 hp. The KL-ZE is their 200 hp 2.5 liter V6. There's also a 170 hp 2.0 V6 from Mazda... KF or KJ or something... there are some guys in FCP and Mazdatech who have it. Plus there's the B6T, the turbocharged 1.6 that's the holy grail of Familia and Kia Pride engine swaps.

The rotary is the 13B... but it's very rare here in the Philippines... and it won't fit in front-engined sedans like the rest of these motors. (Someone's done it with the earlier models, but not the turbocharged ones)

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Nga pala, if you're wondering why there is no 2jz, 13b(rotary engine), and other famous engine is because these engines are rare to find and those listed are more common. I forgot to include the RB25DET engine of Nissan :D

unfair na pag kasama ma yung rb25det & rb26dett. sobrang di na ata match dun sa ibang engine choices.

for me it's a toss up between the sr20det & 4g63T. pero mas biased ako sa nissan.

RB25DET engines are the most powerful but many other tuners' opinion is that RB25 engines doesn't have a great power to weight ratio which they think the 63t and tje SR have... I also wonder why is SR20DET is more preffered than SR20VET? Especially the VET has VVL and is there anyone here who knows about subaru engines? can ypu giv their equivalent engines for these engines?

    SR20DET for me.

    Bakit walang B20 sa choices?

IMO wag mo na isama RB25DET / RB25DETT sa choices. Sure na yun ang panalo e

I prefer the 4G63T. Its probably the most widely available engine locally among the choices. Durability and reliability of this engine is renown. Its already immensely powerful in stock form and even more power can be easily wrung out of it. It is also the only engine among the choices (AFAIK) that is still being produced, if not by Mitsubishi itself at least by Chinese companies.

SR20VET although more powerful, it is rare and hard to find parts for. So it is easier to get the simpler SR20DET and make it stronger to take more boost and make more power.

If I remember correctly, JUN RACING has made 1000hp engines based on the SR20DET. They practically replaced everything except the block and crank.

I have a few questions, which engine listed is easiest to reach 500hp, 600hp, 800hp, and 1000hp and which engine is the best for daily driving?...

And this engine poped up to my mind, how can I forget the 3SGTE engine. ung 3rd and 4th gen.

Best for daily driving? Any of them as long as it's bone stock.
