CX5 has enough space for 5 plus cargo. Not as roomy as a Forester or Fortuner but definitely sufficient.

The Tucson GL (1.188M) has far less toys than the CX5 Pro. It's more comparable to the CX5 Maxx (1.345M).

The drive alone makes the CX5 better than the Tucson, but if it's not much of a priority than maybe you're better off with the Tucson.
