Hence, remove the Chevrolet Cruze right away. Though it wins in space, its fuel efficiency couldn't match the FE of your two other choices.

So it's now down to Fiesta sedan 1.4L vs. Honda City 1.3S

Personally, I never liked the looks of the Fiesta sedan. But its a debatable thing.

Haven't tried the Honda City 1.3S, but I already have tried the Honda City 1.5E. City driving with moderate traffic and frequent "hataw" gave me a 10km/L. But that's night driving. On afternoon rush hours, it MIGHT give me 9km/L which is completely understandable.

For the 1.3S it might give you roughly the same fuel consumption of 10-11km/L on the City then about 15-16km/L on the highway. Still depends on your driving habits, though.

It's normal for Honda not to give discounts. It's normal for them to slap a ridiculous price on their units high as well. Was very close in getting the same unit (City 1.3S MT) but found it unpractical for the price. Add a little more and I can already get an Altis 1.6E which has a much bigger space and commendable FC.
