    Yeah I doubt it, weight difference pa lang malayo na, so it's just being hopeful to consider FE as more fuel efficient than an equally aged CRV.

    If someone plans to own an Explorer for a daily driver then just be ready for a (much) higher than average gas expense.
    At least what you save in getting a pre-owned (2012 V6 model for under PhP1M in OLX and still looking fresh) you can allot for fuel and maintenance.

    I don't think there have been any doubts with its comfort so if that is high in one's priority list then you're looking at the right car.

    I did full tank -full tank once from Shell Centennial Road Cavite to Shell Rosario (LU). Explorer 2.0L consumes about 23 liters (V-Power Racing). Early morning drive.

    10 km/L seems about fair for the Ecoboost Explorer in highway driving. I get about 15 km/L in the same conditions with my 2.0 CRV.

    Interestingly the Ford Explorer has a similar 60-0 mph braking distance with the Subaru Forester ... ~120 feet ...

    Better to get 2015 and above when buying a used Ford Explorer ... Avoid 2012-2013 year models ...

    Just curious... how does the LC200 or Prado rank with the choices given (CRV, RAV4, Forester, CX-5, Accord, Odyssey) in terms of best ride comfort? Reason is because I see a lot of these suvs on the road lately despite its hefty size and price.

    Even though the LC200 is twice as expensive as the Explorer, it has a lot more following. I find it the preferred choice among full-size SUV buyers. You can see more LC200s on the road compared to Expeditions or Suburbans or Patrols. Just ask EQ how he loves his two LC200s.

    The Toyota Land Cruiser LC200 is a body-on-frame design ... Ride comfort would not be as good as a unibody design ... It's just built differently for a different purpose ... A lot of people buy it because it's diesel, a Toyota and has a really good reputation ... Very high resale value, depreciates just 5% annually compared to the normal 10% ...

    Was able to talk to somebody kasi who raves a lot about LC200's and said the suspension/ride quality is really fantastic because it's built differently. same like how the Raptor is above all the other pickups because of its Fox shocks.

    Yung 2.0 gas yung aircon vent nasa likod ng armrest katulad ng mga executive sedan. Yung sa diesel ganun din pero meron din sa bubong para sa 3rd row.
