    gandang araw mga bossing. need some help on deciding which engine is better for hauling LPG cylinders. mga 3 to 4 tons ang total capacity . 4HF1 ba o 4BE1? ito kasi ang sinabi ng ibang napagtanungan ko. I am not much of a technical guy pagdating dito so ask sana ko help from the group. TIA

    The 4HF series of engines are the newer ones. I don't know if parts for this engine is abundant in the local market already. And even if they're already available, they might be more expensive than parts for the 4BE1.

    We have trucks with both engines. Better to choose 4HF1, sobrang luma na mga 4BE1. mahirap makahanap ng sariwa pa. the youngest are at least 15 yrs old already and mahirap pumasa sa smoke emission tests. ang lamang lang ng 4BE1 ay mas marami at mas mura ng konti ang parts. mas matipid ng konti sa diesel ang 4HF1.

    sir, if i were to choose, id pick the 4hf1, the displacement of 4hf1 is 4.3L..overhead cam ..kaya mas powerful..i have a 4hf1 and i suggest yuo get the inline injection or direct injection..not the rotary type injection..medyo mhina ang rotary...fbe1 medyo lower ang displacement lower din ang price lower din power hehehe... sa parts both madami na supply ngyon

    Hmmm... dati meron din kaming 4be1. but after 3 years of service i was forced to sell it because its cranshaft broke. I wanted to buy sana a surplus part for it but my mechanic told me not to go with my plan. Apparently yun daw ang sirain sa 4be1. i do not know if this is really true but i trust him. By the way i bought my truck as japan surplus. In terms of power naman kayang kaya nya ang 3-4 tons na lpg. I am also into LPG dealership kaya i know this first hand. I do not have much to say about the 4hf1 dahil di ako kumuha ng ganitong makina. 4be1 is relatively new in the philippines so the price for its parts is also relatively priced higher. Yun ang sabi ng kaibigan kong nasgbebentga ng truck. If you are on a budget get the 4be1. tyempuhan lang naman ang pagbili ng surplus trucks. whatever you choose i wish you luck.

    daming salamat mga bossing we'll see kung kakayanin ng budget yung 4HF1. san ba most recommended place to buy trucks? sa subic ba talaga puntahan? i hear that there are some issues in the registration. binabyahe pa raw ung truck para i-rehistro kada taon. di ba applicable ang change venue for subic sold vehicles? TIA

    kung renew lang, 1 time change venue lang... 4hf1 vote ko, matakaw lang sa diesel, pero sulit naman.. sa bulacan/cabanatuan area, most of them are subic direct importer branches...

    Ideally this Engines were designed to carry only a 2 ton load

    Sir ferolimic if i were you i would go with the 4HF1. Its a very powerful engine here in batangas many jeeps have 4HF1 and the run very well.Even though it has a bigger displacement it doesnt mean that its a diesel guzzler.Some drivers say the 4BE1 guzzles more diesel than a 4HF1.And plus its a newer engine.The 4HF1 has a single overhead camshaft.

    Mga sir help naman po, Magkano po ba ngayon ang 4HF1 at 4BE1 engine with tranny? kailangan lang po? san mo magandang dealer kumuha? Manila area? Maraming salamat po

    Mausok pa yung 4BE1. Lagi kang paparahin for smoke belching. Nakaka 9-10km/L yung truck ko on 4HF1 pag long distance. Not bad for a 14 footer.

    Mas malakas yung torque ng 4HF1 which makes hauling 3 to 4 tons of cargo easier. Mas matakaw nga lang sa diesel kasi mas malaki yung displacement pero mas bago nga talaga siya, luma na masyado yung 4BE1 Isuzu.

    Ang 4hf ay mas ok dahil newer model ito at bigger engine,4beagle ay ok din naman pero sirain ang transmi at ito naman usually ang weakness ng mga isuzu engines unlike sa mitsu matibay ang transmi..Kapag nasira ang transmi ng Eagle papalitan mo ng mitsu 4d30 na transmi then ok kana nyan.. Kung sakali assemble lang ang gagawin nyo na sasakyan piliin nyo ang differential na ang gear ratio ay 7/37 maganda ito kapag ang byahe ay karamihan ay flat surface dahil high speed ito pero kung akyat baba naman ang byahe at gusto mo mabilis parin then kunin mo ang 7/39...

    good engines ng Isuzu ay 4bc2,4be1, 4hf,4he1,4hh1 & d not so good ay c240,4ba1 & 4bc1 at ang sa mitsu na makina na pangit ay 4d30.

    New bie din po. tanong ko lang po kung yung sinabi nyong 7/39 na ratio para sa 4hf1 ay ok para sa Passenger xlt? akyatin at pababa po ang biyahe.

    Single tire lang po ang xlt ko. pano po ba malalaman kung 7/39 ang ratio pag namile po ako ng rear axle? may model din po ba to?

    ok din naman ang 4hf1 kaso npakamahal ng parts nya and yung iba disposable pa like yung cyl. head nya kpag na overheat ka at nabingkong palit na sya kaagad at di na pede ipa machineshop. tungkol naman sa transmission ng 4be1 hindi sya madali masira infact napakatibay nga nya bka ang sinasabi mo ay transmission ng bc2 yun ang madali bumigay kc maliliit ang mga gear nya sa loob unlike sa eagle na malalaki. ok din ang 7/39 na ratio pero kng mabigat ang mga pangarga mo at gusto medyo mabilis go for the 8/41 or 8/43 combination. kung eagle makina mo ito ang tamang ratio 7 transmission and 8/41 sa differential, mas ok kng toyota dyna ang differential ay naku napakatulin ikaw ang susuko lalo na sa slex wew hataw talaga

    4HF1 namin na subic 380,+++ km na takbo. Hindi ko lang alam kung tampered ba sha o hindi. Okay parin hanggang ngayon, palit valve cover gasket palang ang naging problem.

    Tanong ko lang mga sir sa 4be1 na jeep ko ang problema kasi ay humina na ang hatak at sobrang usok nito at kulay puti ang usok.
