    c/o autoindustriya.com reviews.

    The sticking point has to be the price, as the i30 is somewhat teetering at the upper echelon of the class at PhP 1,048,000

    It's the review that's in error. It's a typographical mistake. They do happen, y'know.

    It'd be a very sad Hyundai 2.5 that only makes 115 ps... seeing as how their 2.0 CRDi already makes 140 ps...

    Besides, the current 4D56-based 2.5 CRDi doesn't fit undedr the i30's hood.

    *Niky ::

    I was looking at bigbigcar.com and haven't found a review of the car. So, I went to AI and, they indeed had one. Yup, errors happen. ;) Maybe it's time for me to correct them.

    Thanks for clarifying

    *Ghosthunter ::

    If ever you buy the TDCi now, you can sell the motorcycle and get the cash for future modding.

    Personally, I would rather have Ford Manila keep the scooter and just give me additional discount in the same value of the scooter, if it is all the same.

    Saves me the hassle of disposing the scooter by myself later.

    Actually... no.

    The 4B11 engine in the Lancer can take some boost, but the Evo-X engine is built with upgraded internals and a more reinforced bottom-end. The EVO transmission is completely different, the rear subframe is completely different to take the rear differential and drive-axles. The track width of the EVO is different and requires different body work (I don't know if you can roll the rear-quarter panels enough to accomodate the wheels or if you'll have to cut them up with an acetylene torch) and there's the usual differences in body-construction such as seam-welding and increased buttressing.

    This is not to mention suspension upgrades, the different computer box needed to control the AWD system and the big brakes.

    I know some guys who do the EVO upgrade for older Lancers (EVO 5-6)... and the cost of the components, the work done and the swap-car (a local Lancer) are such that you could just about buy a whole secondhand EVO for the cost of the conversion (which requires cutting a hole in the rear floor and welding a new subframe in...). And it'd still drive better than the conversion.

    Well... you can make a Lancer look like an EVO X easily, but such conversions are obvious when you look at them from the side... and even more so when you put it beside a real EVO. grin:

    Besides, this is GH we're talking about... he's more into "go" than "show".

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    although may nababasa akong mga issues na may namamatayan daw ng makina in a speed of 80 kph ata un sa gitna ng kalsada.

    The Impreza, odd-looking as it may seem for longtime Subaru fans, is actually pretty attractive to the opposite ***. My girlfriend likes it in red. ;)

    If you're into modification...I hear the Focus is a dead end in terms of suspension. CMIIW

    Isn't the Lancer supposed to get cheaper in the future due to production moving to our shores?
