For ladder frames, the Montero. Though it's still truckish, it's not as stiff as the Fort or the Everest.

For crossovers (CR-V, Escape, Tucson), the regular Tucson with the non-active shocks is very good (The TOTL Tucson's active suspension can't cope with changing road conditions that well)... the ASX is the best-controlled without sacrificing ride comfort.
The X-Trail and Escape don't drive as well as the newer, smaller crossovers, but ride is decently comfortable and soft. The Forester is good, too, in this regard.

Among cars, the Cruze is unmatched in this segment. Combination of great ride and handling security. The new Corolla is a bit stiffer than before, but still on the soft side. Doesn't drive as well as the Cruze and doesn't feel as sophisticated in the way it goes down a road.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Ano po yun cruze?
di po kasali ang rav4 and crv in terms of comfy rides?
^
hahaha. baka iban ako ni GH niyan.
naalala ko yung thread kung pano mag-upload ng avatar, eto sagot ni OB at eto rin dahilan bakit na ban siya.:hysterical:

Hahaha. Following the footsteps of OB ha. Baka ikaw si OB bro. Joke.
Sorry TS sa OT ha.
Pagdating sa cars: Chevrolet Cruze, Toyota Corolla Altis (all top of the line variants).
Pagdating sa SUVS: Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson

Test mo nalang, and if ok sa'yo ang used car, Toyota Camry (2007-2009), Nissan Cefiro, Honda Accord are good choices
Kung used mid-size sedan swerte ka kung ikaw ang bibili kasi ang baba ng value. Pero pag ibebenta mo na ulit yun na ang masakit.
Uh... CR-Vs? Have you guys ridden the CR-V? I own one, and no way in hell is it the most comfortable.
The facelifted one is much better, but it's still the Tucson-Escape-X-Trail that have the better rides.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
My uncle owns a CRV, and na compare ko mas comfy pa ung Escape ko before sa CRV, and now, mas comfy pa ung Tucson sa Escape...
Medyo stiff parin ata yung MMC CR-V. But at least better than the version 1 of Gen 3.
So ASX, well balanced. Comfy, Tucson and Sportage.
The 3rd generation "bull dog" CR-V actually has a nice suspension. Inching towards the Accord rather than the Civic but it's still "firm" for people who are accustomed to Camry-like comfy-ness
I would recommend you take a look into the entry-level Camry. I'm not sure about the price but it should be close. Doesn't have the usual frills of the 1.7M Camry but there isolation, comfort, and engine is still there. An alternative is the non-Premium Hyundai Sonata which has a composed ride but is definitely firmer than the Camry.
When it comes to the compact cars, Altis and Cruze takes the lead. Test drive them out to find which is to your liking.
