May 3rd, 2013 07:30 PM #21Kung maganda lang talaga yung interior ng EX, EX na. However, sa loob ka naman uupo, hindi sa labas, so plus talaga na maganda ang interior. This is where the Elantra shines, apart from the higher HP (negligible IMO, kung hindi naman rezing-rezing ang habol mo).
Are there any interior upgrades para gumanda naman yung loob ng lancer?

May 3rd, 2013 08:11 PM #22For all car brands, interior upgrade is just normally a refinement of the components -- from fabric to leather (w/ red stitching) for the seats and sidings, then carbon fiber trim instead of wood, etc. Minimal na lang yung changes sa design. Maraming shops naman who offer services to upgrade the interior.
Sa Lancer, the 2DIN headunit is already there, with an option for GPS and reverse camera plus the steering wheel control. Weird lang is yung TOTL GT-A ang naka Rockford Fosgate sound system pero hindi maganda ang headunit. Kailangan pa palitan ng aftermarket 2DIN headunit.
Sa interior, just keep it clean and odorless, okay na. Kapag nasa loob, your eyes should focus on the road, not on the details of your interior. Kapag maganda naman ang exterior, even mga owners napapa 2nd/3rd look sa kotse after mag park. So I guess, it comes both ways.
For me naman, ang Lancer pogi (masculine); ang Elantra maganda (feminine); ang Civic di tiyak. Up to the TS on where his heart is

Plus may ipad mini hehe!
Malabo talaga magkasya mga gamit sa likod kasi yung stroller ko ay yung Graco na may table like from sir niky's review hehe
I WANT THE RED .... that is if yan ang final decision ko hehe! Pwede pa mag-isip while waiting for my auto loan approval hehe!
Agree
Sabi kasi ng SA, ECON is advisable for use only in heavy traffic. Pag highway driving, wag daw gagamitin.
Actually my heart is all for the Hyundai Accent HB CRDI pero maliit tsaka mahaba ang pila.

^ Sir kung naturn off ka sa Lancer EX cuz of it's small trunk then why do you desire the Accent? :-)
Buti nga ngayon may iPad mini pa, sayang wala kameng ganyan noon. hehe

Gusto ko talaga Accent kasi tama ka, diesel so matipid but that's for myself lang... para bang toy car
Pero hindi talaga pwede given the circumstance coz I have 2 kids and a baby na kailangan ng stroller at madami pang ibang gamit.
As for the Lancer's small trunk, I think smaller pa rin ang trunk ng Accent. Chaka gusto ni mrs. malaki yung trunk..Gusto rin naman Lancer, not saying that I hate it, yun lang nga there are other sedans to consider. Kaya ang hirap din mamili, I'm sure everyone here wants the perfect car pero hind ganyan eh.

*sir 3ple4
We do have the same dilemma. The only difference could be the family size. (family of 3 pa lng kami). We did our research as well as hunting and we ended up choosing between the Lancer EX and Accent CRDi. Haven't test driven both but we've taken a good look on the EX (wala kasing unit on display para sa Accent hatch). Maliit nga ung trunk ng EX especially if you have a baby on board and two kids. We've been there and marami talagang gamit si baby - plus you have two kids pa. I do agree with her na "maganda" talaga ung exterior ng Accent but I can say "guwapo" naman para sa EX.
Happy hunting!

Mag-isip muna or pray for divine intervention hehehe!
Last week I went to Hyundai Manila Bay at meron silang display ng Accent HB CRDI manual. Maybe if you're in the area, you can have a look.
Good luck for the both of us, may we not regret our final choice!

May 4th, 2013 05:35 PM #29Hehe. Both are just bang for the buck! But not really sure which one will last longer, though Mitsu has proven it since I'm seeing Mitsu 90s model. Good luck sa atin.
(cguro tint of choice). Sa Hyundai, wala! (strike while the iron is hot!!!) tsk tsk!

Pwede! Gaya gn sabi sa taas ang Elantra (same sa Accent na fluidic design) is feminine, while sa EX (boxy type) ay masculine. That's why your wife went for Accent. So I realized it wasn't enough as it is just 1 point to consider. Again sir, kung size matters to you since family kayong gagamit, Accent is smaller than EX, trunk and interior, yan siguro mailalaban mo kay misis. :-)
*3ple4, maganda talaga ang red sir, here's mine (pangakit hehe), base unit na GLX:
