Choosing between Altis and Sentra

Altis. No match ang sentra, although mas mura siya.

Teka, brand new ba pinaguusapan? Baka naman second hand, pero nonetheless whatever it be, altis pa rin ako.

we have a 10th Gen 1.6 Altis E (M/T and with stock rims/tires) and we manage to get 8-9KPL on the Odo pure city driving. my cousin has Sentra 1.6 GSX and gets the 7-8kpl (A/T with 17s na concept one rims). i own a 1.3 M/T GX and i get 11-12 kpl pure city. with these figures taken from experience, i can say good enough ang FC ng Sentras

though, given may pera to spare, Altis is the way to go pa ren.

OT: i don't know.

on good days, 9-10 pure city, now it's down to 8-9. Odo is at 12,000kms.
sabi ng SA sa Toyota Manila Bay where we got the car, regular lang daw un. oh well. oks lang, pogi naman talaga ung Altis.

i would definitely choose the Altis over the Sentra. may it be brand new or second hand, hands down ako sa Altis. parts availability and affordability pa lang, talo na ang other brands.

no point of comparison there since price tags are several yards apart. given that base sentra is 200K less expensive than altis (as per badbadtz.carlo), use it to upgrade any part of your choice, then compare.

pero kung sa looks lang ang paguusapan, altis na. looks like a mini camry..and uhmm.. sige na nga, mag-altis ka na hehe

+1 for altis ako

Why not consider the Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 GLX or GLS? :D

Even if the TS considers the mitsu lancer gls and glx ( not EX ) it will still be a no match with the altis. IF the TS considers the lancer EX GLX/GLS which is then, there will be 50/50 answer to this.

Salamat sa input mga sir.

Pno mga sir kung option ko is 2nd hand altis vs. brand new na sentra? I can get altis 1.6j 07 at 500k pero nagpaquote ako sentra 1.3gx at 590k 1.6gsx at 700k. let's say ok naman condition ng altis. napapaisip ako kasi malapit na lang ang presyo (although 1.6j vs 1.3 lng ng sentra) and baka mas ok yung bnew coz of warranty etc.

No contest pa rin b mga sir o baliktad na based on my options? Again, thans for the input.

It really depends, sino ba ang gagamit ng car? Kung ako gagamit ng car I may consider the Altis kasi medyo nakakaintindi naman about cars, pero kung wife ko ang gagamit dun na ko sa brand new. Pero based on your choices,I'm leaning towards the 1.3GX as long as matic and all-powered siya.
