August 6th, 2009 05:57 AM #1Sirs, kelangan lang ng konting payo. Di kasi ko masyado maalam sa kotse. which do you think is better? Main considerations are the ff:
* looks
* fuel efficiency (city driving)
* performance
* maintenance costs
* comfort
Any input will be appreciated. thanks.

I'd choose the Altis, almost on all counts Toyota would be the wiser choice over the Nissan.

no match ang Sentra sa Altis... but it better be kasi yung highest variant ng Sentra (1.6 GS A/T) is mas mura pa sa lowest trim ng Altis (1.6G M/T)..
talo lang ang Altis sa affordability
if basic needs lang pinaguusapan, Sentra na.. gets you from point A to point B, very good FC, spacious interiors, comfy for city/long drives.. Maintenance costs are same lang with Toyota.. esp kung brand new kasi lahat naman ng CASA, mahal costs.. plus base Sentra is 200K cheaper than Altis' pricetag.
kung afford mo lang ren and money is not an issue, 1.8V Altis na pearl is very very nice! rode in one already, ganda! parang lil' Camry! un nga lang 940K cia

didn't say mas mababa ang FC ng 1.6 Sentra sa 1.6 Altis. said it was very good considering its price and an FC comparable to those of pricier subcompacts.
we have a 10th Gen 1.6 Altis E (M/T and with stock rims/tires) and we manage to get 8-9KPL on the Odo pure city driving. my cousin has Sentra 1.6 GSX and gets the 7-8kpl (A/T with 17s na concept one rims). i own a 1.3 M/T GX and i get 11-12 kpl pure city. with these figures taken from experience, i can say good enough ang FC ng Sentras
though, given may pera to spare, Altis is the way to go pa ren.
