If Daihatsu had only OPENLY declared marketing here then we could have a more choices variety rather than just piggyback riding on Toyota. i.e. Wigo and Rush they are actually Daihatsu cars. In Malaysia they have this contract agreement with Perodua and they produce quite a number of nice cars, based on actual interview with GRAB driver they really quite perform well, particularly the popular Alza model which I think is a direct competitor of Ertiga and Mobilio. The MYVVI model is also nice and looks like much better than Wigo..IMHO.

The T badge helped alot.
It will prolly not sell that much if it is badged as Daihatsu.

suzuki doesnt have the plant capacity to make ertigas for toyota. so no t badged erts
