nasa 500+ units lang benta ni Vitara? i got it wrong when I expected it to sell more than the ecosport. di kaya konti lang stock nito?

si mux bumagsak benta masyadong kasing malaki tinaas tsk tsk. i was at Isuzu Manila last saturday sabi sakin nung guard "mula nagtaas ng presyo dahil sa train law iilan pa lang daw narelease na 3.0 blue power since january".

the innova has many competitors.

manufacturers go to great lengths to up their models, to better compete against "same-level competitors' models".
but sometimes, the decision on what to buy is even simpler than they imagine.

to wit,
"dad, instead of the bigger and more expensive innova, bilhin na lang natin ang _________. it's cheaper and smaller than the innova. it'll be easier to maneuver in our garage."

Exactly what my neighbor's son told his dad ... so instead of the innova, nag reserve sila ng Xpander.

So Suzuki sold around 600 Vitaras in Q1. I thought it would be a great success but the Ecosport still outsells it 3 to 1, selling 1,842 units in Q1.

too bad for suzuki. owning a glx on the first few months upon launch is a pain. dealerships are making crazy practices just to get the most out of the hype. others just shifted to competing brands i.e. honda br-v, ford ecosport and the likes rather than waiting for empty promises.

I also like the Rush but the Xpander looks more macho hehe

Nagka-bagsak presyo / clearance sale ba ang L300? Inuubos na lang remaining stocks for sure since discontinued na sya.

Sa isuzu naman, im sure happy sila na makabenta ng mediocre sales lang since parati silang midlevel features with slightly high prices.
Sinayang nila yung advantage nila with mu-x before na mababa price. But with bluepower, masyadong mataas na price for its features. Hindi na bang for buck.

^Pumunta kami last week sa may planta ng almazora sa laguna. Nakita ko andami paring bagong l300 dun kinakabitan ng rear body. So meron parin ngang binebenta nito ngayon, more or less.

Toyota Innova does not really have a direct competitor ... closest to price and specs would be the VW Caddy Maxi ...

Mitsu knows this that's why with the Montero they undercut the Fortuner's price by a good margin which incidentally gets within striking distance of the Innova 2.8.

It may not be as practical but personally I'd pikit-mata (because, SUA) choose a Montero over an Innova.

Andyan pa naman ang k2500 at h100. Although mas mahal. Nv350 cargo, ok na ok rin. Iwas kotong dahil mukhang van lang na pang tao.

Pick up is really useless. Mananakawan ka, o di kaya mauubos ang oras sa kakatali ng paninda sa likod

Eh mga end of February lang sila nag release after nila mag increase ng price eh. Inipit nila ang GLX stocks. Yung GL+ gusto nila i-push, pano di mabenta kase pangit ng specs naman.

Isa ako sa mga naloko niyan, 2months ako nag antay ng GLX, nag-down na din, pero I ended up sa another vehicle.

Though I expect it to spike this Q2 and beyond. Madami dami na din ako nakikita sa kalsada.

Got the Civic E. Pag may nakakasalubong akong GLX na red, napapa awww ako, pero once it passes and see the rear end via the rear/side mirror, nawawala yung what if feeling haha.

Admittedly maganda naman kase yung Vitara GLX, so may onting remorse. Suzuki PH just sucks!

Pero I'm satisfied naman with the Civic, minus the freaking rattles inside (known issue globally). It also fits my driving style better. Pag CUV kase medyo forced ako to drive slowly than usual :D

Yup useless talaga yung pickup without a canopy. And cargo space sa dual cab is very limited. Ang lamang lang ng pickup sa van is pag may amoy yung cargo. I remember when i had to pick up a lechon flown in from Cebu.

there should be a law.
government-purchased vehicles should be limited to certain models only, depending on who's going to use them.
for escort vehicles and support vehicles, hanggang L300FB or mahindra lang dapat sila. para mas useful for lugging cargo around na rin.
