with diesel power and our tropical weather, there is a greater need for stability control.

Basta maganda, matipid, matibay, maluwag, ok na. This applies not just to pickups but to cars in general for most folks who aren't as technical or sophisticated with their car buying process.

I never even heard of ESC so that was not a consideration when I thought of buying a hilux or strada.

ESC,should be standard.

There's a reason why this is required in some countries: safety

I had too many close calls, with the different vehicles i've driven.

Snow, ice , rain, dogs, hoofed animals, monkeys & mc riders.

Wonder if anyone has computed the total government excise tax income from TRAIN and has compared it vs the pre TRAIN panic buying periods...

...must be the train price expenses...
it's always a gamble, raising prices to increase income. sometimes, it backfires.
unless, decreasing car sales to decrease cars on the road is the ultimate objective...
which the car sellers conveniently go around, by restructuring their payment schedules!

i feel the 1st quarter car sales decline, can be explained by the rush to buy new cars before jan 1, 2018.
those who had initially intended to buy a car first thing in 2018, opted to buy earlier, to escape the january 2018 price increase.

Bakit yung city at vios, wala namang mga esc or other similar features? Even the 2 million decade old bk pajero doesn't have that kind of feature until now eh.

Sabi nga sa data(NHA) 50% could be save by that feature. hindi lahat dito magaling magmaneho, how many can drive out of skid? Syempre maraming oo-o.

Ahh forgot about the vx+ nga pala. Kaso the pricing for that one is already a million petot already.

Re safety features baka gawing standard lang mga yan pag may ginawa nang law requiring all brand new cars to have those safety aids today kaso wala parin naman eh.

I wonder kung pano magagamit mga yan while in heavy traffic, which is not uncommon here in metro manila during regular days. Diba ooperate lang mga yan while in motion ang vehicle? 🤔

Airbags nga hindi pa standard. Rear 3-point seatbelts for all hindi pa standard. ABS hindi pa standard.

I'd say these are more important than Euro 4 certification, but without any political will, it's unlikely that these will be made mandatory for future cars.

Sabi nga ng isang Service Advisor sa Isuzu, matumal ang release nila ng mga units since the start of the year.

    Nilalangaw mga sasakyan nila.

    Walang benta.
