I do not know what specific method is used for rating wading depth on the Australian market. These things are not equivalent from one place to the other. (note that towing rating for otherwise identical models differ between Australia and the US). I'm still trying to find out what the difference is.
Either way... the Colorado can do 800mm. It's been demonstrated a number of times. But again, since wading depth takes into account stuff beyond air intake height, there may be some specific vulnerability that means water can get into something else beside the air intake.
