A Santa Fe would do the best as a family car, in your case... biggest thing you can buy with the money.
Don't discount the other crossovers in your price range... a CR-V has a lot of space... very commodious second row and lots of trunk space... and it's rather economical with the 2 liter engine.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

IMO, its either a cross between the Mitsubishi ASX 4x2 GLS or Hyundai Sonata Premium...

1st choice: Nissan Xtrail CVT - kasi maraming potholes sa daan natin. madaming mababang parking. mahirap pag umulan, CVT na, and spacious.
2nd choice: Hyundai Sonata - maganda aesthetically, bagong looks

Mas parang roomy yung xtrail kesa ASX. not really a big fan of the ASX because of it's size. parang mas mukhang mahal yung Xtrail than the ASX IMHO. Medyo young-ish kasi yung dating nung ASX compared to the others in this category so it doesn't really say "lady executive".
The Sonata i think will make her arrive in style. but, i think this also depends on her personality eh. is she active? or sosyal?

Hindi naman basta CX-7 eh speed na. IMHO comfortable din ang ride ng CX-7. Matipid pa sa gas considering na 2.5Li ang engine, better FC than I expected. Hayop pa ang handling.
Mags at HID nalang kumpleto na ang CX-7 ;)
