BTT:

mukhang back to my original choices nalang ako. ano kayang mas ok 2nd gen cr-v, escape? jimny kaya ok din? gawa paba ako ng separate thread para dun or dito nalang din? hahaha. thanks in advance mga sir!

All-around din siya and the looks are ok din. Hirap ingress egress.
Kung ako sayo, RAV4 or Escape bro.
Yung 2.3L AT nasa 6-7km/L sa City. Ewan lang sa Rav.
Disente pa tignan. Bagay na bagay sa future attorney. Hehehe

April 20th, 2012 01:50 AM #36Hindi naman ako ganun ka tanda ah, pero gumagamit din ako ng Revo. It's not that bad! Lahat pwede mong itapat. I've dealt with boy racers with this one before, nakipaggitgitan sa akin, walang magawa! Makisingit-singit sa jeepneys and buses? No problem! Met hood level flood with this thing, tawid din!
Ah, so you do not actually need seating capacity beyond the usual five. Magkalayo pala talaga tayo ng aesthetic tastes ah, I find the 2nd gen CRV's looks really odd, reminds me of a frog actually, wherein the 3rd gen reminds me of a turtle. Totoo nga sabi ng Honda that they base their designs on animals. I hear from owners that the A/T CRV gives horrid fuel consumption, around 5-6km/L. M/T version is more liveable at around 7km/L thereabouts. In that aspect, I'd rather get the Trooper, which gets similar FC to the M/T CRV (and I'm talking about the A/T version, which we had), and drinks cheaper diesel fuel. The M/T Trooper should be a joy to drive indeed, if you think of how responsive and quick the A/T is already.
If you're gonna get a CUV, then get the Escape instead of the CRV. You can get a newer unit versus the CRV for a similar budget due to the lower resale value, the Escape's 2.3 is more powerful than the CRV's 2.0, it get's pretty decent gas mileage versus the CRV, and the chassis is simply superb in terms of solidity, comfort and handling.
Nasa sayo na yan. If you really know your car and are good in taking care of it, then the Trooper is for you, assuming that you are sure you got a good condition unit which has changed all that needs to be changed. If you are the sort of driver who thinks of your car as just a mode of transportation, steer clear of the Trooper and get the Escape instead. Based on my experience with ours, it can a surprisingly huge amount of neglect and abuse.

My Ford SYNC just updated itself. Anyone here knows what was updated?
