If this is your friend's complaints about Suzuki, he probably doesn't know much about casas in general. When buying spare parts from any dealership, you cannot buy "tingi-tingi lang".

Burn a plastic connector for the headlight socket? You have to buy the whole wiring loom (at a cost of 10k, I might add... at Ford). Lose the glass on your side mirror to the "Banawe boys"? You have to buy the whole sidemirror assembly, down to the casing and electric motors. Which is why my Isuzu has crappy side mirrors... I refuse to pay freaking 24k for parts I don't need.

Honda, Nissan, Toyota... they're all the same... charge you through the nose, won't let you buy the parts you need... they'll force you to buy the whole assembly. And even replacement parts are like that... certain parts can only be bought as complete kits. Try asking any of the major manufacturers if you can buy a replacement gear synchro... or even something as simple as an automatic transmission clutch pack... and they'll force you to buy the whole gearbox!

For spare parts outside the casa, there are shops that specialize in Suzuki parts... surplus parts for the Celerio, though, won't be common, but this is true of any newer vehicle.

I still don't get the complaint: "ayaw kumagat pag mataas na lugar"... ??? Is he saying it's underpowered? Because it emphatically is not.
