haha actually my good friend is offering me his 300c. i kinda liked it at first but another friend advised me to stick with europeans instead as the 300c has a very low resale, and will even go lower in the future. sabi nya copy cat daw ng bentley hehe, but dont get me wrong i really like it. i'm just being practical, i will surely get tired of the 520d after 2yrs so i want it to have a good resale value. i'm getting it na tomorrow, i'm excited! =)

Dont know if this is too late, but I had a 530d before. It Absolutely thrashed, obliterated and destroyed the 520d (which I drove a couple of times myself and raced against as well hehe). 530d has active steering / suspension and the torque is massive. Super frugal as well maybe 8km / liter city heavy traffic.

Sold it because as other posters said over here, BMWs are a b$$ to maintain.

hey! it's alright because the 530d being offered are quite old, mostly 2004s so i opted for the 520d. speed is not really an issue as i'm not the one driving hehe. thanks for the tip though! =)

Haha! this is quite true but then again there is this certain enjoyment in driving that we get that we still willingly put up with this.

I would still get a Beemer rather than a 300C. The Chrysler's nice but not up to par with Frankfurt, that's for sure. Although my opinion might change if it's the refreshed 300C we're talking about initial reviews were mighty impressive when it comes to removing tacky interior materials.

couldn't agree more! =) minsan talaga kahit i warn tayo na high maintenance, willing parin tayo. mga baliw sa auto hehe
