I saw an urvan display at San juan before. Hindi ko mabuksan yung pintuan. biglang lumapit yung tao, sabi "sira" na raw kasi. haha nun nabuksan, sobrang turn off ng interior.

from what i've heard, if you are a long term thinker, you'd go for toyota. hangang ngayon, ang dami parin early 2000s na hi ace dyan sa daan. matibay kasi

Mabigat and malaki front door ng hiace to comply with newer crash regs in other markets. Oem parts are not exactly cheap but may replacements na din.

For hauling people and cargo, i say NV350 is the one. Too much torque

Another thing to consider.. all NV350 are made in Japan. (Nabasa ko sa Philstar). Sulit i think for the price.

i see lots of Toyota Grandia spacious than Nissan Urvan.
maybe its because they changed the seating arrangement of the back to vertical.

Are you comparing the NV350 commuter and Hiace grandia? Ofcourse grandia is more spacious because of its wide body compare to the standard body of NV350 commuter. You should compare the Hiace commuter to NV350 commuter. I say NV350 is more spacious, better rear ventilation, and excellent performance than Hiace commuter. Just wait for the wide body version of NV350 and then compare that to grandia.

IMO, all hiace vans are too much Overprice. Starex is just good because of its wide body, comfortable and great engine, and NV350 is bang for a buck for a family and business van.
