I need help in deciding a second-hand car all in 1990 model Lancer, Corolla, or Nissa

I need help in deciding a second-hand car all in 1990 model. My options are Lancer, Corolla, or Sentra. Anyone can help me especially in fuel consumption aspect and maintenance. I also need the price range of these cars, just to give me an idea before buying. Thanks.

corolla gl would be my choice among the three

i've learned in another thread that there is a 1990 Corolla XL4 but there is also a GL. I'm confused with these models, whats the difference between the two?

XL4 4 speed 12 valve engine, XL5 same as previous but 5 speed with tach i think, GL is 16 valve engine.

same with sir bluebimmer, corolla gl, coz for that year model, toyota has the most parts and knowledgeable mechanic available anywhere in the country.. hehehe...IMO

Amongst the 3, Corolla GL seems to be the best.

corolla gl din choice ko. may XL (4speed only) at XL5speed na lumabas. later on, ginawang 5 speed na yung XL at XE na ang tawag sa XL5speed. and as theveed mentioned, the XL, XL5speed and XE share the same 1.3 liter-12 valve engine while the GL has the 1.6 liter-16 valve engine. only in late 92 did they release an all-power version of the GL and XE with power steering. aside from engine, you also have color-keyed bumpers (except for the SKD GLs) and side-mirrors, tachometer, etc. for the GL.

kung gusto mo walang sakit sa ulo, porma at tulin, get the '90 corolla gl.
kung gusto mo all power amenities and slightly bigger interior, get the '90 sentra sgx.
kung gusto mo...hmmmm...la kong masabi sa '90's na lancer hehehe. pero kung lancer gti ang paguusapan, ok sa porma at tulin to. although di ko sure kung may lumabas na gti nung 1990.

ok naman ang 1990 lancer just make sure that the unit that you are buying is well-maintained. especially sa suspension area. yun lang naman ang problema ng lancer. :D
