Nissan Urvan definitely suits your needs wether for personal or business purpose, swak yan, wala kang talo dyan..easy to maintain, dependable, cheap replacement parts, strong AC, yung nga lang its interior is so old, bare and boring to look.

Not really, I think it is a modern evolution of the previous Caravan

I know, but it really does look more like the Hiace than its predecessor.

Hindi kaya joint-venture ito ng Nissan and Toyota like what Toyota did with Subaru (Toyota 86 & Subaru BRZ?)

as far as Nissan Urvan is concerned, ang daming trim ng Urvan. Ang Escapade ay yung 12-seater then may 15-seater din na parang Toyota Hiace commuter ang lay-out. 18-seater is yung kasing-sikip ng 15-seater yung lay-out ng 1st two rows then parang jeepney-style ang likod. 21-seater is yung buong likod po ay jeepney-style ang layout ng upuan. there is also a 3 liter Nissan Urvan Estate na 12 seater din and ang direct competition niya is the Toyota Hiace Grandia.

The Foton View should be a good shuttle van. It's basically an extended wheelbase and cosmetically modernized previous gen Hiace Commuter with an Isuzu 4JB1-TC engine. Parts shouldn't be a problem and you can even improve on its reliability by using genuine Toyota and Isuzu spare parts should something fail on you. Having the Isuzu engine also means its punchier and more fuel efficient than the smaller, normally aspirated Toyota 2L.

Just don't expect Starex ride quality, though it should be similar to the old Hiace which is rather bumpy but liveable by my standards.
