I'll check on that.
For the maintenance, syempre yung concern ko lang is long term. Kumbaga after sales support. Wala din naman na guarantee na kahit less tha. 1 year yung unit hindi masisira, pero tama po kayo dapat ienjoy, siguro gusto ko lang makuha yung input and experiences nyo since mas matagal na kayo sa ganitong business and as I said, first car po kasi namin to and we're excited and ang malaking factor din yung recommendations nyo and saka ako mag shortlist.
Thanks again guys :-)

September 25th, 2014 01:16 PM #34TS, i'm in your same boat yesterday chosing between spin, accent hatch, Innova J.
My requirement was diesel, frugal, could sit the more the better(pang hatid lang sa mga pamangkins), and could do long drive. Not that i live in flooded area(i'm in waterworld Sampaloc and i frequent in Malabon to Valenzuela/ Obando), but i have proper vehicle for flood areas.. 2nd option ko lang yung Ertiga, Avanza since gaso sila and yung 3rd choice ko was Carnival, and VW Touran pero i can't spend that much..hehe
Sa tick list ko tinangal ko yung innova since naimagine ko sarili ko driving another Innova(i drive one in the company fleet) parang nasusuka na ako kasi napaka common na, Accent hatch na sana kaso 5 seater lang, but i'm impressed with FC. Finally, Spin LT was left in my list, did fit my requirement. 1.3 FIAT CRDI engine(tested na in euro and latin american countries), ABS, airbags, seats 7 kids, AC vent well distributed. Roofrail will be added and the OE fogslamps, the manual sidemirrors i don't bother since abot ng kamay ko yung adjuster sa passenger-side.
My suggestion is, since its your first car then buy the tested units like Crosswind, Adventure.. They may lack safety equipment but those ABS/airbags wouldn't matter if you drive patiently and courteously. What should really concern you is the flood in you area, hence the simplicity(less electronics), would make it easier for you to maintain. My experience maintaining vehicles na naggaling sa binaha is bulok ang pang ilalim, heck i wouldnt buy 2nd hand vehicles from those flood prone areas. I'd once driven lapu-lapu street nung hindi pa tinataas ang kalsada, from C3 to dagat-dagatan ang tunog ng makina parang nalulunod na yung tubig nasa pedals..haha Luckily i was able to cross that streach.
I will take the Spin to 700kms spin later to test the FC on hiway drive. So far i'm happy with the ride.
Goodluck and happy hunting.

September 25th, 2014 03:33 PM #35Slapz - yes, naka drive na ako, pero hindi dito sa Manila, sa US and Saudi. yes first car namin, kaya specific yung requirements ko.
12vdc - good thing same tayo ng requirements actually upon checking yung Spin, pasok din sa requirements. Yung pagbaha naman sa malabon eh sabihin nating 5 days a year? yung malakihan eh once in every 2-3 years. di naman talaga bahain sa lugar namin, pero syempre something na need ko din iconsider considering na gagamitin kosa work as seervice pag lalabas with kids . Nakita ko sa PIMS yung Crosswind, parang ok sya sa labas pero sa loob, very basic (excuse po sa mga me crosswind), and with that price range, me mga malapit din naman na ibang option like innova nga at spin. Btw Avanza (gas) hidni mo ba naging option?

September 25th, 2014 04:47 PM #36Im bit stingy when it comes to fuel tho i drive 1.6 apv at and 2.0 innova. Nothing beats diesel on torque and long drive efficiency.

San ka sa malabon TS? Ako Navotas naman. Jetski yata ang kailangan natin.
My first car is a CUV already kasi notorious ang high tide sa lugar natin. If I were in your shoes, I'd get a Mid-spec M/T pickup (konting dagdag pa sa 900k) or a diesel innova. And never skip on acts of nature on your insurance, mahirap na.

With that budget, I'd get a 2nd hand Innova diesel G or a 4x2pick-up. Not more than 3 years old at 50,000kms para may warranty pa din kahit papano. Madali na din naman makahanap nang matinong 2nd hand eh, tsaka maganda dyan, may mga casa maintained for sure.
