First Car
Budget : 900K (no more)
Family Size : 2 Adults, 2 children
From Malabon (so minsan me baha)
More on city driving 80%, yung remaining out of town.

Choices namin

Eco Sport (Pero sabi mahal daw ang maintenance)
Vios 1.5G
City
Innova J Dsl (kaso lang parang kulang sa safety features, primary concern ko.)

If I were you, I'd get the Ecosport. Very useful especially during the rainy season and you're living in Malabon as you say. Good looking vehicle, nice design, with good features as well. Just get the Trend M/T version * Php 825K. Fits your budget too.

For any brand new car, you'll most likely have your repairs done in the casa anyway.

Even if you get a Vios or City, if something goes wrong, you'll send it to the casa right?

Also, maintenance cost isn't very far for the Ford compared to the others. Don't be too scared because of this - just a few thousand pesos twice a year.

Get the Innova mas maganda pa rin ang malaki, reliable at maraming parts.

For any brand new car, you'll most likely have your repairs done in the casa anyway.

Even if you get a Vios or City, if something goes wrong, you'll send it to the casa right?

Also, maintenance cost isn't very far for the Ford compared to the others. Don't be too scared because of this - just a few thousand pesos twice a year.

Turbo ng Ford ko less than 1 week ang turnaround time ng repair. Also, how often ba masira ang brand new car? Kaya ka naman bumili ng brand new kasi usually wala naman sakit sa ulo yan. I'm not particularly fond of worrying about events with low probabilities of happening.

In any case, I also prefer the Innova if you can live without the creature comforts. Safety naman is not an issue since the Innova J already has airbags and ABS. But the Ecosport is cheaper and has a lot of useful features. Also much less of a daddy car.

it has bigger space,fuel efficient
for the base model may dual airbags na sya
if you want to have more luxury
will you consider the Innova E priced at 999k pesos
btw the innova can fit 8 people comfortably incase
you want to bring your inlaws w/ you during trips
and it has 9 cupholders
it has ample space in the third row
and still have enough space when 3rd row chairs are raised

Ford Everest ba? tagal na yan dito sa Pinas kahit sa sari-sari store may mabibili kang piyesa niyan yung Ecosport kelan lang na release aftermarket accessories nga wala pang masyado piyesa pa kaya at hindi porke bago walang masisira meron at merong factory defect. Yung Everest ng bayaw ng utol ko inabot ng limang buwan bago dumating yung actuator sa power window that was 2004 pa bagong labas lang ang Everest dito.

Buy one from a brand that honors its warranty. Ford? Naaaaah! Sa mga nabasa ko dito pahirapan ang warranty claims dyan. Dapat pag nag-claim ng warranty ang customer hindi na umaabot pa sa mediation ng DTI o sa courts.

Ford ranger t6 ko claim ako replacement ng bedliner 2weeks din waiting time

Ranger t6 ule claim ako replacement ng cowl less than a month bago dumating. Ok lang din

05 ranger and 08 ranger namin wala claim sa warranty.

Ewan ko sa iba. Ako maganda experience claim ng warranty and overall satisfied sa ford.

Ford pampanga pala home dealer ko. Although i might have to try makati ford cos mas mura pms nila.

Add ko lang for me worst in warranty claim is hyundai. In ford youll have to wait a few weeks but it will come. Sa hyundai you dont have to wait. Kasi wala ka hihintayin dahil sa dealer pa lang denied denied denied ang claim ng warranty. Lahat ng palusot gagawin. Hyundai i10 aircon compressor panay "observe muna natin sir" ang sagot. papaabutin ata magexpire ang 5years warranty. :/

Syempre sino ba naman ang ayaw ng brandnew, oo talagang ma eenjoy mo yan pag brandnew, pero siyempre ang kotse kasi may wear and tear paps. Eventually bibigay talaga yung mga piyesa. Unless bibilin mo yung kotse at itatabi mo sa pagtulog at hindi mo gagamitin. Or isasali mo lang sa carshow. Kaya ka nga bumili ng kotse para may magamit, ayaw mo naman sumakit ulo mo or ang bulsa mo in the near future. siyempre ayaw mo naman pag nasira tengga sa grahe. Basic yan sa pagko kotse. "Kailangan may piyesa"

Ang pyesa po ay very important sa lahat ng "machine"

Hindi po lahat ng brand new na sasakyan or other type ng machine ay near perfect. walang pinipiling oras na magkaroon ng material failure or breakdown, bago yan or used.

Hindi rin lahat ng mga prototype na machine na ginagamit ng manufacturer ay detected lahat ng sira ng certain part(s)/components(s)

pwedeng 1 day, 1month, 1 year...(ticking bomb) anytime pwede mangyari.

kaya nga meron po na "warranty" within the duration period, yung mga "teething problem" ay lalabas na, in a certain period lalo na kung everyday na ginagamit or much worse, yung time na pag gamit is lagpas na sa equivalent year in a certain period of time. para ma-resolve yung minor problem, or major recall na ang gagawin pag lahat ng certain model of car/vehicle or machine,
at naging universal problem na, para makagawa ang manufacturer ng modification para i-correct yung problem at ma-resolve.

Syempre bagong kotse. Wala pa talaga piyesa. Pero sa 2-3 yrs na lilipas magkakaroon na yan. Alangan naman maginvest na ang mga business e wala pa nagpapagawa. Sa 2nd hand market siguro mas applicable yung naghahanap ng wide choice ng piyesa. Kasi expected na may mga papalitan ka
