Yes, they are more durable ... but at the expense of riding comfort ... the suspensions of crossovers are durable enough to last a long time on normal city roads (including the occasional potholes here and there) ...

Compared to the Montero, yung CRV namen ilang beses na pinalitan ang pang-ilalim since tumuntong ng 40K kms.

Pareho pang city use lang yan, di pa probinsiyang malayo or super rough roads.

So yes, based on that, I say mas sirain ang suspension the CUV kesa sa PPV.

We sold our CRV at around 200k kilometers.

Only replaced the front shocks once.

The rear shocks were starting to go, but only showed signs of wear at around 160-170k kilometers.

Iba ang mga bagong CUV kaysa sa mga kotse. Most sedans won't go over a 100k without some suspension repairs.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Compared the Innova and the Montero 3row seats.

Innova has a slightly higher seating position. but if youre 5'8, the underthigh support is missing so leg weight and upper body weight is on the knee&foot and the back.. very similar to the old innova and fort. its really uncomfortable.

The Montero seating position is lower. Knee is higher than your buttocks, but thigh support is excellent for a 5'8er. its like a cradle or adult child-seats.

Quality may be going down na kaya?

2012 Montero replaced 2 original rear shocks leaking at 70t kms. Noticed first signs of leak 60t kms. No off roading whatsoever. Pinaka mabigat na load is maybe 2pcs. 50kgs sacks of rice but that is like once in a blue moon.

2015 Fortuner even worse. Almost same circumstances showing signs of leaking at the rear at only 27t kms.
