May 4th, 2017 01:30 AM #2012D rin naman. Mag papahuli ang montero sa safety and feautures. It has 7 airbags. Traction control . Front mitigation.hill descent . Uphill ..overtaker warning. 3 pt seatbelt sa back. Parking sensor and camera.led lamps and drl. Sa features naman. 2 power seats auto light and wiper. Non glare rearview mirrors..gps which ford doesnt equiped. Autoleveling headlight. Headlight washer.paddle and lever shifter. Cruisecontrol. Dual zone AC. Sunroof. Yet i believe ford has a little advantage on features : and montero on 4x4 drivetrain with pajero dakkar technology. Yun 4x4 ba ng everest pwede mag 2h? Sabi kasi sa akin ng ahente fulltime lang daw sya no 2 wheel drive like subaru. While montero has option of 2h,4h,4hlc & 4llc.preset mode like sand mud etc. And rear differential lock switch. Best if all its just price at 1.740m. Thanks to SUA that the price went down .and i think. It will be more SUA proof than any ppv. Hehe

May 4th, 2017 01:40 AM #2013Caught this a couple of times already, just like to clarify na.
Ano ba definition mo ng full time 4wd? You can't compare 4wd system ng everest sa new monty mo. Sa monty, like sa new gen fort, old gen everest and old monty, it uses a "dumb" center differential that is lockable. Either you lock it or unlock it. So pag naka 2H ka lang, phitin mo knob to 4H to engage open center diff 4x4. Some call it "part time" 4wd, they say. Pinaganda lang term and added different driving modes like snow to adjust ABS, traction control and stability control sensitivity...
Basically, if you lock it(4Hlc or 4Llc) 50:50 torque split nya for front and rear. If di locked(4H), kung saan madulas gulong dun pupunta power.
Sa new everest, intelligent AWD sya, may clutch pack ung center diff to vary torque split between front and rear axle on-demand.
Then pag may na detect sensors ng sudden change in g-force, yaw, pitch and roll, and or wheel spin/slip, saka nya i vary torque split from 30:70, 50:50 or 98:2,etc... Depende kung saan tire may grip dun nya ibibigay power to prevent over or understeer, or balahaw. Then using brake traction control, it can even send 100% torque on just one wheel. All this things happen in millisecond...
Both systems have pros and cons, point is di mo pede compare 4wd system ni eve kay monty. LoL) na may ganitong 4wd system.
P.S.
Ranger 4x4 uses same set up like kay monty mo.

Lol. Parang karamihan dito naghahanap ng validation on their chosen vehicle. [emoji23]🤣[emoji23]. Subjective naman yan eh. There is more than numbers and figures. Hindi niyo kailangan maging staunch defenders of your chosen car. LOL.

You forgot to mention that the monty has the softest suspension. Only downside from what I've read medyo masikip daw cockpit ng monty maybe due to its thick center console. The monty is a good buy specially with the huge discounts while the eve has increased its price already.

May 4th, 2017 05:30 AM #2016+1 tayo dyan Paps. Pero were just clearing the issue sa sinabi, kasi nga di naman totoo base on our experience. Dami dito nga readers na they are relying sa nga owners review bago sila bibili din ng kanilang PayPerView. Lol. Which almost all the time di po tayo nakakatulong.

May 4th, 2017 09:07 AM #2019You kept on babbling na gusto mo ng fulltime 4wd yet you want a 2h option like subaru? Sorry pero parang ang labo hehe. Correct me if I am wrong pero afaik, lahat ng subaru except brz ay awd.
Anyways, maganda naman talaga montero. It was actually my first option dahil sa mga nababasa ko dito and on a car magazine. Heck, suv of the year pa nga diba?

Though if you bought a 3.2 eve model and paying that kind of amount, siyempre pipilitin mo sarili mo na exceptional yung performance niya compared sa fort at monty. HAHAHAHA
