For MrBIG. If you want diesel and some speed.....Medyo OT na: Get a german diesel (bmw audi merc). Kahit 200 kph okay lang. Built for autobahn long distance driving. Their 2.0 liter diesels rock. Case in point the diesel in the mini cooper countryman SD. 190 hp and 400 NM .

I drove the new audi a4 avant 2.0 TDI when i was in italy over the break. 200+ was no sweat for it.

The korean diesel is also very powerful ( Sorento).

Baliktad yata Sir, di kaya yung 3.0 Mux ang maingay at malakas ang vibration. Ako nga mismong driver di ko namamalayan na lampas na pala ako ng 120kph, tahimik pa rin makina at swabe pa rin ang takbo. Saka mo lang napapansin na lampas ka na pala ng 120kph pag tinignan speedometer. Baka naman lumang modelo yung nadrive natin Sir, hindi tong current model natin ng Everest.

the later sorento models (2013 onwards) have speed limitters set at 190kph. the 2010-2012 models can do 211 kph measured by gps, the meter on the panel shows 220+.

assuming my phone's gps is accurate the everest has a 5% error when equipped with 265/50r20 tires, meaning 120 kph actually is only 114 kph. if the tires are changed to 275/55r20 tires** the speedometer is almost spot on with an error of only -0.1 kph at 120kph. i've tested it to only 170 kph though. steady naman siya at that speed. engine noise? may noise cancellation e so observation will not be valid.

**inflated to 33 psi only. anything more and it is as matagtag as 265/50s.

What's the engine speed of your fort *120kph?

Our diesel 2.4g m/t *120 kph is at around sub-1900rpm's. . . can't really say na me galit ng mararamdaman at those engine speeds

A little over 2000 rpm. Iba talaga ugong ng makina eh. Immediately slowed down to 100kph since the fort was not mine.

160kph sa Everest 3.2 is no sweat... no vibrations no engine noise... mas naririnig mo pa wind noise...
Vibrations? Kung ano vibration from 10-160kph.. walang pagbabago..

I doubt kung na test drive man lang nya. Yung binili nga nyang monty di nya tinest drive bago bilin. Eve is the heaviest among the PPVs but it feels the lightest and easiest to drive thanks to EPS and low end torque. Yes it may feel numb at times pero hindi mo naman dadalin sa racetrack to lol.

I doubt kung na test drive man lang nya. Yung binili nga nyang monty di nya tinest drive bago bilin. Eve is the heaviest among the PPVs but it feels the lightest and easiest to drive thanks to EPS and low end torque. Yes it may feel numb at times pero hindi mo naman dadalin sa racetrack to lol.

Ranger 2.2 can reach 180kph...

It was my friend who owns 3.0 mux and 3.2 everest and its new model . And He compares it. I own mux 2.5 and montero gt. At low end i felt mux is more powerful but from mid to top montero excels. My fellow biker has tried its montero at 200 kph. My old strada did run at 180 kph and caren at 210 kph. So no doubt new montero will get 200

Well everycar i bought. I dont test drive. Hindi mo naman malalaman agad yun handling and power o biritin sa testdrive unless kakilala mo. And No time for that. May be im wrong and amazed that my friend told me about his comparison. But then ford or chevy was never on my list. Except the mustang and chevy. Camaro. I just choose cars on its looks and reliability. Functionality. I did choose mux 2 yrs ago because its the latest. Now montero gt. Bec it has a fulltime 4wd capability and ofcourse the 262k discount even on cash and bank po's. Ford is also fulltime. But no gps. Its a plus to have high power engine but i think every suv is almost the same. Coz its not build for speed. And it never satisfies me in speed thrills than my bigbikes than runs 180 kmh in 5 sec. tops at 280 limiter. My montero i 2weeks old . The sound system is been upgraded na and its scheduled to be lift and upgradeits suspension. May kulang. My mux Just upgraded the wheels to 20 and its sound system.
