IIRC, Ford raised the Eve's price by 60k a few months ago and Mitsubishi is now giving 200k discount for some or all of the new Monty variants. Toyota Fort's prices remain unchanged.

Question now is, why the opposite price adjustments on the Eve and Monty?

Eve because of demand. Even australia increased their prices.

Monty because of market share or maybe volume. Its hella affordable in au vs forts*eves downunder.

I guess you are correct. I just find it strange that Ford increased the Eve's price after Toyota launched the new Fort, kinda different marketing strategy. Or maybe, demand for the Eve was still high at that time. Whereas, it's only been a few months since Mitsubishi released the new Monty and now they're giving a large discount already. Made me think that move was because of the common notion that when an items' price drops, it may mean that the product is not selling well.

BTW Sir StockEngine, wala pa ba update sa Car Sales Data? Nice to see how these PPVs stack up against each other kasi. Thanks nga pala for providing that info.
