Honestly, I was hoping for the Rush to place second or third, not because I believe the Xpander or BRV or Ertiga is better than the Rush, but because I want Toyota to improve the products they are offering. They see no competition and are raking billions to the tune of 13.4 billion pesos in 2017 (+11% from 2016) by offering slightly above average prices while having fewer features. Case in point, just compare closely priced variants of the Vios and City and you'll know what I am referring to. I thought the Mirage/G4 could atleast shake the subcompact segment a few years ago, but after 5 years the Vios is still the sales king by a large margin.
