I think the Chevrolet Spin is unibody.
Galing ako sa hatchback (Echo) then I switched to a crossover vehicle XV. Akala ko mahihirapan ako because of the size adjustment but on the contrary, parang naging mas madali ang driving. Especially because hindi na ako basta basta naiipit or binu bully sa daan because of the bigger size of the vehicle. Imagination ko lang ba yan or is it a fact that smaller cars tend to get "bullied" on the road (minsan di nakikita, etc.)? I'm a woman driver, too, so am just offering and asking for different perspectives.

^actually it is more on "kung kaya mong bayaran e di banggain mo..." small cars are deemed cheaper to fix and drivers of small cars are also seen as new drivers (entry level vehicle kasi) and therfore easier to intimidate. Pag cuv/suv or any high end vehicle ang dala mo there is the "uy mahal yan di ko kaya pagawa yan" kaya iiwas sila sa iyo. Tignan mo pag new na benz or bmw di dumidikit mga jeep, bus and taxi.
95% for the accent hatch as of now.
We had just talked and my next task will be dealer hopping for the best deal for the Accent Hatch Diesel M/T.

^ Good choice on the Accent hatch :-) I've only gone to the Pasong Tamo Extension Makati dealer but I'd advise you to go elsewhere. The boss mismo is very snobbish and pahirapan before you can test drive. As in physically minata talaga kami ng brother ko. Kapag tingin nya hindi may kaya hindi pinapayagan mag test drive. Waste of time sila. When I complained sa email nila saka tumawag yung marketing dept nila nagso sorry at nag ooffer ng test drive pero na turn off na ako. That's why I ended up buying another car. So I suggest sa ibang dealer ka pumunta.

i got bumped once, on the driver's door. had i been driving my smaller car, i would have broken my collarbone, because the space between my shoulder and the car door is only a couple of inches. fortunately, my larger car then had enough clearance.. i escaped only with a dented wallet.
so true.
I have driven cars for a long time (L300, Toyota box type, Nissan Sentra, MB van) and just recently bought myself a brand new Hyundai Eon (first time to own a brand new car). A few things i noticed driving this baby for 2 months so far:
1. Pinipinahan ako ng nga jeep at bus! They might think Im a new driver and is trying to intimidate me.
2. My horn is as weak as sh*t and is not helping my car in ANY way. even pedestrians DO NOT give way. This is SURELY my first upgrade.
Im a big guy in a small car and when push comes to shove, magkakaalaman hahahaha
Para hindi off-topic: I choose the accent CRDi as well. may nakita akong sedan type color white and looks BEAUTIFUL! mas bagay sa babae. second choice: ford ecosport.
Update:
Went to some dealers yesterday,
It seems we can get a 2013 Accent diesel hatch, there's a unit available in one of the dealerships i went into.
Hopefully, if all things went according to plan, the unit will be released within the week.

^Congratulations! My friend (also a woman) got her brand new 2013 Accent hatch diesel (manual) yesterday. She's very happy with it although she wishes she got the model with the back-up camera. Pero she's very happy with it naman.

Hyundai balintawak? Laus group yan, mahal magpa-pms dyan. Hyundai balintawak charges 30-50% more than other hyundai casas. Try nyo pa-quote ng pm sa ibang casa before going to them for pm.
Hehe. It was the blue one and i think will be released on Friday, if i am not mistaken.
Anyway, we can get naman another 2013 unit from another dealer, just waiting for the confirmation within the day.
*yebo, mahal nga sa Balintawak, i never brought the getz sa dealer na yan, sa NE ako nagpapa PMS nung getz nung sister ko.
