Hindi naman nagmamadali bumili, willing to wait until 2020 to 2021..
If ever lang po??, LC 150(MT)?, LC200 Full option? or Y62?

May 16th, 2019 08:19 AM #3LC200 benefits from JPEPA. LC150 does not.
Actually, the full option LC200 offers pretty good value for money. Compared to those from Dubai, it offers Optitron gauges with MID, cooled and heated seats, auto climate control for rear passengers... For around P1M less.

Go for the LC200, tried and tested. However, there are different options but a lot are petrol-powered. I had the Armada (same platform as the Patrol Y62) as a rental for a few days and it is smooth for its size. The Expedition and Suburban are bigger than the LC200 and Armada.

Sir StockEngine, LC200, Similar sa Boeing..
Sir GTi, LC200, talagang heavy duty ito.. Local buying due to "Train-Law" VS "Grey-Market". which is hindi accepted sa mga local Casa.. kailangan magkaroon ng training ang certain casa to maintain yung Grey Market, kailangan magbayad for those maintenance staff for their training sa personal na sasakyan + warranty..
Which is Reality..
(Full Package)
Sir Egan101,
Not in a hurry situation, yun nga po, LC150 V6, nasa 3.2M, then LC150 3.0 M/T nasa 3.8M.
Maayos dati ang HARI.. since nagkakagulangan at naging ganid sila dati..
Just asking po Sir travajante.. any opinion/advises.. open po ako..

If gas expense is not an issue, I would take a look at the Patrol Royale. It is one good package for less than 4M. The new Ford Expedition is also one good full size SUV, it offers a premium feel and it has lots of space plus its turbo gas engines has ample power and torque.

May 17th, 2019 12:03 PM #9Is resale value of any concern to you? If yes, then the LC200 is the best choice. The Prado's resale is just as good, but I find the purchase price overly expensive. Does it still use the old 1KD engine? Even the Hiace has moved on. Even with the 1GD engine, I balk at the fact that I can buy three (3) Innova's with the same engine for the same amount of money.
I believe the Euro spec LC200 is the best version, combining all the standout features of the Dubai (138L fuel tank, 360 degree camera, 20 or 21 inch rims, Android HU with touchscreen rear monitors) and local variants (cooled/heated seats, optitron gauges with MID, auto climate rear AC) plus a height adjustable suspension.
If fuel cost is no concern, then perhaps you can compare the LC200 and the Y62. 400hp! Have not ridden in the Y62 yet, but the LC200 has a very plush ride, even while going through the horrible road conditions of Araneta Ave from Sanctuarium to SM Centerpoint at normal speeds while everyone else is at crawling pace. My only concerns are the very high floorpan which necessitates a somewhat knee up position for me on the 2nd row (I'm 5"10). Driver headroom may be a bit on the premium side too due to the presence of the sunroof.
Expedition or Suburban, ayaw? [emoji16]

400hp from its 5.6L V8 for the Patrol/Armada is good enough. Cruising at 75mph along freeways and interstates within the San Francisco area was not a problem. The engine has ample torque at low rpm giving you decent acceleration. The massive Armada could do much faster but I never dared going past 80mph as CA traffic tickets are expensive.
there's this youtube article, about a 2000s altis, that had a high rpm on cold start (2000+ daw),...
high idle RPM at engine start
