December 2nd, 2011 12:11 AM #1Pros & Cons for both models, and which is your best choice. Please depend!!!
Some say Tucson has a serious muscle & beauty behind its engine & its face! But that would be enough to outsmart the ASX reliability, safety & flexiblity?!?!?!

December 2nd, 2011 01:24 PM #3Tucson is #2 in my choise before I bought my ASX last April, and remain #2 after I heard some problems regarding the brand (Hyundai) and the car itself. So far, I dont experience any mild and major problem regarding my first choise (ASX), however I'm planning to add a car on my garage after next year.
Tucson have a nice specs also and even surpases some of the ASX specs, but I like the push & remote entry, the dial knob for 4WD auto & lock mode, auto side mirror folding when lock, NavSat, safety (7 airbags), HID-lamp & paddle shifters. Furthermore, no issues (so far) from engine stalling, brake & brake dust, A/c, noise inside the compartment...
Subsequently, still not conviced to own a Tucson or any other Hyundai or Kia brand!
Finally, may I know the side of Tucson owner, why it is your choise and not the ASX or any SUV on its class???

I think it has got to do with the Hyundai brand in general. Mas nagugustuhan na ng pinoy ang Hyundai with its stylish design.

The ASX still drives better and the CVT has exceptional performance. The Tucson has more space, but not as much more versus the ASX as, say, a CR-V.
But if we're talking the diesel Tucson, that's another matter...
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

December 4th, 2011 02:26 PM #7Sa mga Tucson owner po, sana mabigyan nyo ako ng idea "why you chose Tucson above other its class"!
Admirer din ako ng Tucson pero doesnt yet own one, and up until now Im researching.

Basta sulit. Di ko pinag sisihan 'to.

kung pwede lang hindi pumili, If i have extra moolahs to burn, I'll have both.
but personally, I'll go with ASX.
there's this youtube article, about a 2000s altis, that had a high rpm on cold start (2000+ daw),...
high idle RPM at engine start
