April 30th, 2014 01:01 AM #17they still expect the muffler to fall off while going over a hump, the ball joints to start clunking around at the smallest road expansion joint, the engine to gargle fuel, and find it next to impossible to source common spare parts at reasonable prices...??
at least, the car didn't start rusting heavily on its fifth year, find its aircon severely challenged under the noonday sun, feel cold metal 'round the edges of the door siding, and see the directional arrows for the door knobs, reversed.
heh heh.
but i am curious why the TS did not include the lancer and the sylphy in his choices list..., not to mention the koreans..
but i will agree... negative images are extremely difficult to erase from the eidetic memory of the buying public..Last edited by dr. d; April 30th, 2014 at 01:26 AM.

1. Toyota Altis AT 1.6G (935k)
2. Honda Civic 1.8 S AT (948k)
3. Mazda 3 1.5 (945k) - currently the hatchback intrigues me
4. Eco Sport AT Trend (875K)
I recently got the 2014 Altis and I am very happy with the super smooth ride and CVT I chose Honda 2nd because I find it as the next reliable brand to Toyota I am admittedly a Toyota fan.

Well hopefully it won't be that way when DLSU plays UP at the MOAA on the 6th.
